Gulf Cup 2007 and best players from the Gulf Area

Hello,

my name is gary and I'm an Italian soccer journalist. Most likely, on January I'll have the chance to come to the UAE and follow the 2007 Gulf Cup, as a close friend of mine who lives in Bahrein invited me.

It was supposed to be a kind of a holiday, but my intention is to provide the tournament's coverage for my website and also take a look at the best players and see if it's possible to pick up a few names to "promote" here in Italy for a possible transfer.

My knowledge of Asian soccer is very, very limited and since I'd like to arrive there as prepared as possible, can someone please indicate me who are in his opinion the best players of the eight nations (Bahrain, Iraq, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, UAE and Yemen), including maybe some very promising youngsters, and ultimately those whom you think might technically, tactically and physically ready for European and Italian soccer?
