I just watched the video review on IGN. The guy kept repeating that II is a better game than I. If that's true than this will probably be the best game I've ever played.

Heard it too, but even though the game itself may be better than GoW1, I don't think we'll enjoy it as much. The original God of War was an unique experience; it was just so good (and different) on many levels that it marked a peak on the PS2 life.
God of War 2 already has one game similar to it: God of War 1. There's no way we'll relive the same experience again. Most things will be great and awesome to play, but there'll always be the déjà vu feeling.

The ending sucks, and I think it's too short, but overall it's a kick-ass game and the environment is just ******* amazing !!!!
