Difference between 2 teams? Lets be realistic here.
When you try to win with 2 goals and a man down, you'll get tired and abandon your defensive duties. Pretty immature on the part of United, but the kids will learn. Ferdinand on the other hand concerns me, his performance was very questionable. He is starting to remind me of Gary Neville's last 2 seasons. As for the rest of the guys, with a bit of tough love they'll comeback and beat City in their own park.
Man City's attack is amazing no doubt. But they have to prove that when things get tough they'll be able to cope mentally. We'll talk around Christmas time.
BUT someone big like Smailling or Jones should have been handed the duties of covering Balotelli and not aggresive Evans and the whole problem would have been solved.

here is the thing. When a team goes a man down, fans bitch about how players just give up and don't try at all. Losing 3-0 with lots of attack is better than 1-0 with a half hearted performance, right? Some days it pays off some days it doesn't. Today, at 3-0 down United were still attacking, even at 3-1 there was a little belief that just maybe something will happen. Unfortunately when it became 4-1 all concetration was lost and the emotions kicked in and we conceeded two more for good measure. **** happens, but at least we never folded. Until injury time that is.
Good for City, they were brilliant today.

Well, obviously that explains reasonably why and how you lost 1-6 to City. It was what happened and it was one bad day which happens to every team. The problem, though, is you lost 1-6 to City.
We never folded until injury time? That might be correct, but taken out of context that sounds positive. Injury time pretty much turned our performance into an insult.
The fact that I go on livescore and see that we scored 3 goals in injury time kind of helps to soothe the pain from all the Fergie time goals we conceded to you ****s in the past few years.
About the final result, Fergie stated he was shocked at the immaturity shown by the likes of Evra and Ferdinand at the end of the game. At 3-1, you had a little spark and attacked with some belief, but at 4-1 you'd think "okay, not our day" and sit back a bit but they kept pressing on and attacking which made goals 5 and 6 so incredibly easy.
And be glad it wasn't 8, 9 or even 10, because we certainly had the chances (Dzeko alone could have had 4 or 5 if he wasn't so ******* wasteful).
sigh, the result, although flattering to Man ****ty, is a real embarrassment. I just hope Fergie can use it to his advantage. i dont think we have ever lost by so much under fergie.

A defeat is a defeat, a big defeat is sometimes less painful than a 0-1 loss. We've been beat by our closest rivals before in the league, like in 99 - 00 season, we lost 0-5 to pre-Roman Chelsea but went to win the league by almost 20 points. So yeah blah blah blah...BUT IT WAS ******* MAN CITY, ******* BLUE ****S WHO BELONG TO THE CHAMPIONSHIP!
The smile will stay on City fans' faces until we rape them on their own ****ty stadium.

Actually we were flailing somewhere in 5th or 6th position that season. Nowhere near being your closest rival during that time.
Yeah but weren't you third at the time, though? Was in october too, so pretty early in the season. No one thought you'd fail so bad at the end, so you were one of our closest rivals at the the time, lol.
O dear... what a game. Could be a blessing in disguise though. We really are lacking in midfield.
Didn't think we were doing too badly till we had a man sent off. We dominated the start of the game.
Good job Chelsea lost, were still Second.
I hope to God Man City don't get kicked out the Champions league else they will focus on the prem. We could be in trouble then if they don't start losing games.
But still, nothing to worry about, we just overextended. It could of gone two ways, we could of pulled a few goals back... like we could of done and have done many times before or leave ourselves open to the counter attack.

To loose 6-1 at home was embarassing.Evans should never be at united.suprised me that fergie picked him ahead of jones and smalling. But atleast united didnt sit back and just defend

We were in the CL that year in which we made it to the QFs, and our squad wasn't big enough to compete on all fronts. But we still won the FA Cup, but in the league that season we were inconsistent which was our downfall.
