Installed on a fresh copy of FIFA 12 and for some reason when ever I try to play a Tournament or Career mode my game just closes for no reason. Any Idea's? I'm going to try re installing FIFA12 and the add-on.
There has to be an issue with the install, or you didnt regen properly or something. Are you playing with or without Origin. I haven't had crash to desktop like you explained in a long long time of testing and that was due to a formations problem and it was only in the mls during transfer periods so I need a little more info. Is it a certain team? League?. Also are you using origin and did you edit anything with Creation Master and last thing is did you add the revo lua to fifrna folder.

i think i found a glitch. everytime i try to change formations during a match the game crashes and closes. anyone else having this problem?
hello what team were you using? I have changed formations ingame with no issues ever and I just tested a team from each CONCACAF league and Montreal from the mls. Please be specific on the League and Team you are using and is it any formation you switch to or just a specific formation your changing to that's causing it. Also are you using origin and did you edit anything with Creation Master and last thing is did you add the revo lua to fifrna folder.

JSchuck and maybe the rest of people, pls check if you have this problem too. I can't enter to kick-off/exhibition match. It just crash to windows.
I can play in tournament mode though with Montreal Impact, but I only did a few simmatch testing.
BTW, concacaf patch were installed to clean fifa 12 without any patch or editing.

I dont get it Skeptik, mine is very stable no crashes in anything. Obviously Im sure you dont have anything extra in your DLC folder. Do you use origin? Did you add the revo lua to fifrna folder. Sorry but I cant duplicate the exhibition crash so there is really no way I can fix it because I dont have the issue. So far about 150 DL in 1 day and only 3 reported crashes so Ill take that as a good thing. Please let me know if you fix it.

No, no lua file(s) in FIFARNA. Do we need to do that, or just an optional?
Anyway I will copy LUA to the right folder for test. I'll let you know.
Good question, I had it in my patch I sent to Damien to create the exe but we didnt want to overwrite anyone's revolution mod files if they had them already so he put the text on the dl page for people to copy to their lua files. Its helpful because you dont need the switcher but I really don't think that's the issue though. Maybe try removing the lua folder in fifarna and regen then see what happens. Of all people it pisses me off your getting a crash.

i tried this with both tfc and vancouver from the mls. my profile does have custom made formations. i didn't change the formation. i was using the default formations and i went into pause, clicked on formations and then it just crashed. and what do you mean by revo lua? i have the revolution mod with the fifrna folder in addition to a settings.lua by doctor+ productions

It's working now. I have put original LUA in fifarna but I think it's due to my profile file. I create new profile and select default options offered in fifa 12. Now I can enter to exhibition match and play with concacaf teams.
My findings suggested that, in my opinion, my existing profile cause the crash. Probably due to my favorite team are actually my created team in MSL4FIFA12 patch, so of course it is not available in your patch.
notes: bennier of Montreal Impact has no shoes.
But if your fans says their existing profile is working with your Concacaf patch, then they can continue using it because maybe it is an existing and original team.
However, I may suggest to them to start a new profile to confirm other's crash (as reported above) may due to conflict with their existing profile.
Who knows right. Just to let you know, I'd tested your beta-version patch before this by using my existing profile but no sudden crash in exhibition match, but better play safe then never. New profile for concacaf patch.

No wonder your having issues, get rid of the custom formations. Use Creation Master or DB Master if you want custom formations and save them to the main db. Its definitely your custom formations, this patch was not tested with anything edited in-game and when using patches your asking for a crash when the main db has been edited and you try to edit ingame as well. Don't worry about the lua because I tested again without it and no issues. Once you start your career then you should be able to customize your formations for your team if you dont want to do it in DB master or Creation Master. Do me a favor, start the game and create a new profile then try to change the formation during a game, I guarantee you get no crashes.

Yep, your always right dude, same thing with Hello he had custom formations edited in the main menu and thats a recipe for disaster. I didnt even think about the profile because I haven't really played much yet and when i created the patch db it made me delete my profile saying it was corrupt so I have a vanilla profile.

Well I cant duplicate the crash man, so I have to assume its something with your game or wait to hear from someone else who has a crash like yours. The only other crash is a person who customized formations in their profile and I'm positive that's why they get crashes when changing formations in-game. I have played a ton of games in career mode and exhibition after we resolved that formation issue and haven't had a crash since and that was 3 weeks ago and I probably went thru 20 full seasons and played 30 games at least before releasing. Also you if you open CM or DB you can see Montreal formation is perfect. Good call on the shoes, had the right shoe id but had generic color 9 which screwed it up.

It has to be something on your end, I just played 2 more exhibition games with Montreal totaling 6 tonight(Against all concacaf teams or NY Cosmos). I purposely kicked the ball out of bounds in the 2nd and first half several time until max subs were used and I also committed penalties in the box to award penalty kicks to the other teams at the end of each game so I could see if its a cut scene issue and goals were scored in both games in the 90th minute and no crashes. The patch is rock solid bro and I cant duplicate your issue plus nobody has posted at FIFA Infinity or here with that crash so I have to assume its an issue on your side. Im using the same exe over a fresh install everyone else is using so hopefully you can work it out and I will wait and see if anyone else posts the same issue. There has been way more downloads of the patch in the first day then I expected and I would imagine people would be or will start posting if there was or is a bug causing a crash so we will wait and see.

Don't worry. I have no idea why or how. All I did was create another new profile and play a few number of exhibition match with Montreal Impact. No problem whatsoever. I also have played against the team that once make me crash, also no problem during substitution and penatly too.
Congratulation, I'm playing tournament now. Thanks for the new set of fun patch, it's completes the americana (is this correct words?) football/soccer virtual experience.
