EURO 2000... Just a patch

It could have been a great game…
It’s just a middle class game…

Nothing really brand new….

Some would say that World Cup 98 was the same as Fifa 98…
It wasn’t… World Cup 98 had the World Cup feeling…. The gameplay was better….

Here all u have… is a Euro 2000 patch for Fifa 2K…
The same game with still the same defaults…

U can’t play the tournament as it is… (except for Belgium & Holland)…

I won’t talk about the rosters… As it’s fifa series weak point…

The matches that r played at the same time… U know the score during the match… great… It would if the score wasn’t given to u at the 30th min. of your match…

I would like to know…how they play soccer in Canada… The ref. whistles for off-side…even if the sweeper covers u… Incredible…

I still don't know how to do substitutions... (My booklet is in dutch...and I don't understand a word of it...)as it's impossible to use the team management during the match...

No National Anthem… No Stadium visit…

As I say… It’s just a patch… A 30 £ patch…

or is it a patch of prem league stars ??

If Fifa 2000 was just a beta then this pile is the Alpha code. I agree that it is just a patch with some code in there to bog down all those gleaming new 3D cards.
Sorry EA I won't be coming back for any more patces thankyou.

OK, EURO2K could be much better but to be honest it has a great gameplay (it was in my opinion perfectly right not to change the great FIFA2K-gameplay), a few more goalkeeper movements, dirt on the player's jerseys, some more animations and quite good rosters and commentators (compared with FIFA2K), much nicer menus. Only the music could be better (something like football's coming home would be great, indeed!! but i'm sure that's no problem to change, the music-files seem to have the same format as the one's in FIFA2K). All in all EURO 2000 has more atmosphere than any other FIFA-game (except WC98). Anthems would be great of course but to sum it up EA has made a quite good game (in my opinion FIFA2K always looked like somewhat incomplete, like a beta-version (of EURO 2000 )
