i disagree about the 3d or 2d model thing. Because how can you make a model realistic if it doesnt run for 90 minutes?! Atleast with text you can make it seem realistic. Maybe they should just have highlights or something??

True, skip_E. I actually think that having a 2-D or 3-D match engine spoils things. Just look at the FAPLM series or the Player Manager series. Their 3-D engines are absolutely awful. I personally prefer commentary.
I thought of another great idea. Since we cannot watch the games on 3D, why doesn't SI add commentators with sound so instead of just reading text, we can actually hear commentators comments about the match.
Also, clubs or national teams should approach us (managers) if we are doing a good job at our current club or national team, and not just us going after them...let's make it like in real life.

how do you expect hearing commentary on the fastest mode?
it wouldnt work, unless the game was about 100000megs, we would hear all the commentary after about 3 games...look at 3d games commentary it always sucks hard...
