From reading what Matt says about how you get the power, then put it in the green zone to make sure it is on target + wind, etc, it reminds me of the free kick taking method of UEFA Champions League 01/02.
I did send a couple of e-mails to EA, saying that it would be good to have a free kick system similar to UEFA, as it is very rewarding to score.
I hope EA improve the shooting, but from looking @ the vids, I can see that EA are only really showing how fancy and 'nice' everything looks, maybe a real vid from in-game footage real-time play wud be better!! (hint, hint

neways, EA seem to be making a much greater game, tho i bet a lot of cool looking stuff will be left out of the PC version,
