Who knows how to edit *.vis and *.lay files?

Does anyone know how to open these files? With what utility?

Come on guys, there must be someone amongst all of us that knows how to edit these type of files.
Share your knowledge, don't keep it to yourself.
Atleast say what utility opens these files.

What are the .lay and .vis files?

What do these files do .. maybe i can help then ?

they change the pop ups that comes up in the game, for example the scoreline, goalscorer etc

It looks like there are a lot of us who are trying to figure out how to edit these files.

I think it would be better to post it on the internet, instead of sending each one of us instructions seperately.

someone over at fifala.com was able to change some of these graphics. The popups now feature Fox Sports World. It looks sweet. Anyone know these people?

Tell me what you want to do though... then I will help you. I haven't looked at the layout files in Fifa2k. But I know how to use them really well. This format was also used for the Fifa99 menus.
