It's a shame

Football fusion will make a game that FIFA should be on its own without paying for a whole other game. Oh well. Anyone know the leagues yet? I heard the two games have the same database, even though many teams aren't directly available in standalone FIFA. Does this mean American teams will be in TCM 2004?

Not really, I'm personally happy the 2 gaems are being kept seperate. FIFA has a cut down management in the form of career mode which I think is enough for FIFA players and if they want it more detailed then they can use football fusion.
The leagues for both games haven't been released yet but there will be more teams in TCM.

EA posted a comparison between the FIFA and TCM management systems: http://footballcommunity.ea.com/index.php

Unnecessary to say the system in TCM is a little more detailed.

<speculation>
?
The db in FIFA could be the same as the one in TCM, but not as many teams/leagues can be selected. Most leagues will just be feeder leagues in FIFA, so you can't play with the teams in those leagues, but you cán buy their players.

I was thinking about this football fusion, wouldn't it be very easy to win if you can play the matches yourself, than the managment isn't fun anymore because in FIFA you win very easy (don't know about TCM, never played it)

That's where my doubts are as well. I think it's just fun to have the option to play with the team you formed, more than it being a practical option...

I think people will do this but personally I won't. When I'm playing the management game I won't use football fusion but I may use ff for playing FIFA.

If it's a vital match, I'll play it on World class, but not amateur!
