Oh man lads! It's been a rocky adventure so far on my road to football supremacy, quite a ways to go still! After taking three seasons to finally get out of D2, I was a trainwreck beginning of my D1 season. Half of the season, I was in 12-13 place, fighting back with a re-vamped formation and extra help, I fought my way to a solid 3rd place finish and a 2 place stop in the D1 cup. Seaon 4 was dismal and quite stressful to say the least. Finishing 5th with 15 or more ties on my record, goals were coming by slim to none. Aside from that, I was knocked out of the WEFA cup and championship faster then you can say WEF.........! So, absurdly enough I finish with enough prowess to beat Chelsea in the D1 cup finals. After playing 5 seasons now with a squad not made up of any superstars, I needed some fire power to say the least. My current team:

So far, this squad seems pretty solid. A lot of rotation will play deep into my season, which won't be a problem. Players I switched around that weren't quite as solid or traded away for more solid players. Donovan for Amoroso, Pope traded off, Hughes from Ireland, Chong Gug outta here, Ximenes, thank God I was finally able to trade him off, sold a few players so I could buy new ones. New players are all marked with "*"s for season 6! Thankfully they have included the ability to trade for WE7, almost all of my acquired players have been because of trades.
Just finished the first stage of the WEFA cup, finished top of the group! Now it's time for league play. Hopefully I make the turnaround and be on the winning side of things. Cheers lads.
