Career mode seems a little boring...

Got my Xbox version on saturday, got a $10 discount at EB which was a bonus.

I think the first thing you notice is the players look really shiny, they all seem to have a glow, maybe it's delayed fallout from Chernobyl. Although I must say that you get used to it, and they look better in Broadcast or tele mode.

There really doesn't seem to be enough feedback in Career mode.
I started a career with Watford in Div 1, and the goals are realistic, like:
- finish in top half of league
- have a positive goal diff
- record at least 13 wins.
- plus losing points for relegation

You don't really get much weekly or even monthly feedback. So I find myself focussed on churning through the games, plus the weekly training ( all by stats ) seems a little shallow ( but this isn't a management game )

It is good that the transfer window closes at the proper times ( I got caught out by that one when I tried to pry Jeamin Defoe away from the hammers )

I love the new free kick system and have curled some nice ones around or up and over the wall.

Still figuring out the Corners and OTB ( the clear button is not in the best spot to activate OTB ), I also can't seem to get the IGM to work, but practice mode is good for this.

I have noticed a few glitches in the commentary where they will react 2 or 3 seconds late to an event, or "The goal keepers just tips it over the bar!!!" when he caught it. Even had one player walking through the net in a cut scene.

All in all it is much more fluid, and easier to pass to the ball to no one, and a little more randomness that occurs in real football.

fair review, im glad your pointing out the bad from the good. But what you have to remember is that this is the first year EA have put career mode in FIFA so there are always going to be glitches. But I think 5 years is to short, so hopefully they will expand on that in years to come.

I think it's a pretty ****ty ploy to say if you want to edit anything then you have to buy another game.

Are you able to use a Football Fusion side in career mode or just friendlies ?
