It is with great pleasure that Soccer Gaming has been asked to promote the sporting nominations of the
Golden Joystick awards for the 2010 gaming year. For the uninformed, the Golden Joystick awards are the ‘peoples’ awards ceremony of the gaming industry and since 1982 have been handed out to hundreds of different video games of all genres.
Seeing at Soccer Gaming is football based, the site has been asked to announce the shortlist of contenders for The Sports Game Of The Year Catagory. In alphabetical order, these are
2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa
Blood Bowl
FIFA 10
Football Manager 2010
Madden NFL 10
Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games
Pro Evolution Soccer 2010
Skate 3
Wii Fit Plus
Wii Sports Resort
If you would like to cast your vote, please visit www.goldenjoystick.com, and feel free to vote in any of the other catagories, including ones such as Soundtrack of the Year and the big one, Ultimate Game of the Year. Voting is free and it is a great way to offer your support to your favourite titles from the past 12 months.
