Some great games for neutrals tonight.

RB Leipzig vs Monaco
Tottenham vs Dortmund
Liverpool vs Sevilla

it's hard to know what to watch. despite the lack of a British club I may actually watch the former.

Watch WAXTAP x Napoli.. The latter play the most beautiful football. Also, Diawara is starting... Absolute gem.

I'm puzzled myself.. to be fair.

Very surprised and impressed by Tottenham.

In all fairness Dortmund were missing a chunk of their regular starters - Schmelzer, Raphael Guerreiro, Erik Durm, Marc Bartra, Sebastian Rode, André Schürrle, Marco Reus, and that's about it.

Still, Spurs seemed to have had a good game from the few minutes I saw, especially Kane.

They were missing Alli and Wanyama, who're their starters.

There's a theory that Napoli want to throw the CL as they really think this could be their year to overcome Juventus in serie A. I would devote all my energies to that, if I were them.

Sucks for us that just before the Saturday where we play them, city have a Tuesday night game at home whereas we fly abroad on the Wednesday night to the toughest team to play away at in Europe...

Given the financial windfall with overcoming a round or winning a match in the CL, I'd say that's highly unlikely. Throwing the Europa League is pretty much Serie A (and other leagues) practice because the prize money is a joke compared to the CL. It's all about CL money nowadays, especially for Italian teams with Serie A's TV revenues being so low compared to the big leagues. Juve's financial success is largely down to the CL runs in the past couple of seasons.

I'm just utterly delighted with our result and performance last night. First time we've genuinely dominated and beaten a really top European club away in years.

Sporting looked scary at the second half during our match against them. I've enjoyed watching Paulinho play so far. I hope he continues to play well. His performance against Getafe and Eibar was great. Strong strong man.

There were so many memes and complaining from Barca fans when he was announced.. "Shoddy player" based on his Spurs season.. He's one of the main players in Tite's Brazil, and he's good.. He was already at Corinthians before moving to Europe. Just Spurs wasn't the right club for him.

Everyone at the Barca reddit were so in-love with Seri and they felt that 40 mil could have been spent on Seri instead. I don't have enough knowledge on the skills that Seri has but so far I think Paulinho has been money well spent. The physicality and aggression that he brings to the team is really refreshing. His goal against Getafe made me so happy and amazed. He just brushed off the defender, the same defender that has been harassing and making Suarez's life so hard the whole game, like it was nothing.

I believe Seri was looked as a replacement for Ineista?

Im sorry but he isnt heven an Iniesta type of palyer. They got Paulunho for differene , Rakitic eealier.. You simply cannot replace Iniesta, that guy is class and even every Madridista respects him.

The truth is - they haven't got a replacement for him.. Too bad they're too blind to see under right under their nosees to see Denis Suarez, but hey! We all need world class names don't we? Fucking maricons. Sometimes you just fail to to see what you're needing for that's in front of you.. I'm really sorry about the drunken post... But I'm in a bad place.

You are one weird dude

Hahahaha... Yeah I suppose I might come off as one at times. I had some painkillers, benzos, hypnotics, beers, a bottle of prosecco and two bottles of red wine so that's what produced those weird posts I might have written around here. (this is not boasting or anything like people here have thought before, I'm just saying things the way the are lol, I mean what's wrong with that? Being honest?)

Some dude pissed me off while I was already in a slight condition, so yeah things got a bit out of hand.

Seri was probably supposed to be played in the Rakitić position/as a rotation for him, definitely not Iniesta. Seri likes to operate deeper and controls the play, while Iniesta is more a more forward thinking of a guy.

What I said about Denis Suarez is what I really meant, the guy was absolute class at Villarreal. He has tons of potential.

Coutinho would be the perfect replacement for Iniesta IMO, he's similar as he likes to get forward a lot, is quite intelligent, and can also play on the left wing. Has pretty much the same characteristics as Iniesta, but is more bold and individualistic.

Considering that Busquets mostly sucked last season, they got Paulinho as a back-up for that role, who can also play in that Rakitić position.

But another player who they should respect more is Sergi Roberto. The guy has been incredible so far for them this season, every time he has started in midfield. Loads of Barca fans on reddit are often complaining how it pains them to see him playing as a right-back, while they could desperately use him in midfield because of his great performances.

Same goes for Denis, but I don't wanna sound like a broken vinyl.
