[FIFA 18 PS3 to FIFA 16] Mitre Delta 2017 by EA

Hello, this thread is inspired by @rique1984 work in FIFA 14 Editing forum. He's been converting assets from FIFA 16, 17 and 18 to FIFA 14. I don't know how to convert 3D models but some things just work by simply exporting and importing them, i.e. ball models and textures (obviously).

I haven't seen new Mitre ball being made so here it is. Direct export from FIFA18 PS3. It doesn't work perfectly, for instance the reflex is too shiny and texture is only 512x512px but the model works OK so it can be used as a template for better version if someone is willing to do that.

Sure! But keep in mind they don't work neither in FIFA 16 nor FIFA 15. I didn't test in FIFA14 though. But they can be previewed in Creation Master.

Some of them seem to be corrupted - CG File Explorer says "no data in file". Probably due to different compression method? Or are they just placeholders for updates? I have no idea, but they are 100% intact from PS3 version of the game.

Sure, but unfortunately they are a little f*cked up ingame. Maybe because texture compression type is different? Instead of DXT5/NVTT it is DXT1.

Most new balls are already made by people on this forum, look up Ron69's and barrysun's threads, their balls are way better than EA's, especially from low res PS3 version.

There aren't Hi-Vis version of Ordem 2018 in game files, they will be added via DLC as usual so there is no way to get them.
