I have no other way to fix this issue as I am unable to reproduce it at my end.

Kris, do you know if there are faces made for young players added this year in the data base, like Itter, Sarachi, Vinicius Junior, Amian Adou, Oriol Busquets, Diogo Dalot, Vitinho (from Barca and Corinthians), Havertz, Cucurella, Maolida (Lyon), Valverde, Leandrinho, Chiesa, Cuisance? I can not find them anywhere and there are a few more missing.
Vinicius Junior,Vitinho and Havertz already has,good faces.

you still can use it for F16, just import with CM16 and do Not change/check his generic face setting at CM16, or his face textures will be like chess board
