I'm playing arround with playergrowth since Aranaktu released the cheat engine table for this but something feels terrible off with this file.
In cheat engine there cannot be seen any difference between modded and default.
On the other hand I stiil do not see the influence of weight....
Rest of the curves are clear but this weight is a mistery. What are your findings in this so far?
Also how did you add acceleration in trining? This also did not work in cheat engine.
Anyway I started a full test sesion with frosty editor for all the files so it could be usefull for everyone to centralise all the results in one place and this thread could be an option.

Playergrowth has changed a lot since FIFA 18 so I need to take some time testing it. If you find any good settings please share.

Sounds like good plan. If we all come up with something together, I will rename the mod to SG Career Mod. :)

Only a little tip to paul and pedrito:
In the code shared by pedrito is there an issue in tweaked settings:
For example, If I understand you need an hard and realistic fatigue recovery by day
....I see you've edited in a wrong way this string:
CONSTANT = 10.0 // (default: 6.0)
In order to get the hard fatigue recovery you need to decrease the constant value otherwise the effect in BASE_DAY strings will be decreased, is like you decrease in a place and increase in another.
to fix the issue edit like this (my setup, anyway you can edit):

I see in real soccer almost 70% - 80% of world wide players still fatigued after one match for 2/3 days, only special players with a super physicist. In real soccer for a normal human player is possible to play at most 2 matches in 1 week (and it's really too much) and get most fatigued.

Ok guys, I'm making progress with playergrowth....is sensible better already but, please, did someone understood the meaning of WEIGHT_AGE, WEIGHT_MENTAL, and all these weights?
In my file the young players already grow, but not all, that's the scheme....Those weights do have a role.
Anyway, after a few more tests I will upload my files for better testing.
PS: I forgot which line must be edited in gtndatareveal in order to make overall visible without scouting.

Guys, I cannot believe this.
It's all working perfectly.
Transfers: I recieve at least one per day although many refuse the offers...(something to think)
Growth:well, surprisingly it works, it's a lot better
Training:hell yeah, all the attributes added
Scout:better young players, higher potential, I did not touch scouts since I really do not like using them
All regenerated players 16 years old
Morale: excellent edited-works
cmsettings:removed radiomanager (annoying)
simsettings:reduced injuries
Still can't remember how to tweak gtndatareveal for revealing OVR and how to add unlimited release players (going to ask Aranaktu)

Test it.
All these worked from the first try, no errors, no problems at all.
I'll move to the database now.
Everything inside the files can be modified by anyone to his liking, the game accept the file and it shows imediatly.

It is to 1 by default but I'm not seeing the overall....damn, this is iritating not being able to remember.

It is? I seem to remember it was 3 at default which only let you see the overall of world class players?

Maybe try 0 then?

Hi guys . I have completed my first stage of development. You can find it on GitHub. (check first post). You will have to use FrostyEditor until I can get Mod Manager working. All you have to do is download the project file,open it in frosty and launch FIFA.

Hey paul, did you manage to figure out the new playergrowth system?

It looks simple enough.

There are 7 curves (imagine a graph). 1 for each distinguished position (GK, Full back, Def, DefMid, Mid, Wingers, Str). You can add more if you would like and make it much more dynamic.

In each curve you have the positions included. So Curve_7 is the Striker/CF positions.

In each curve you have an Age and the Ratio that the Curve takes affect. They seem to have generally said that players peek at 29-33. There is slight differences in age between the positions. Defenders & GK peek later.

In each curve you have an Age and what amount of growth each given to each attribute category during their development curve - Physical, Mental, Skill. This is out of 100.


Not sure whether it needs much improvement as I have yet to see the growth system fail. What would you all like to change?

Yes Paul, this year 100% seems to be represented by the number 1.
Problem is that even if you change each curve to be 100% at the age of 23, it won't grow at full.
So there must be something related to weights but there are so many weights for each curve and it's hard to understand what is the connection.

Remember though. The players are limited by their potential and the growth limits applied to them if they are above or below the curve. If you change the curve ratio all your doing is speeding up or slowing the curve.

The weights are added up to 100. so its split between the 3 categories.

I still can't get any mods to work via Mod Manager or Frosty Editor.

Much better growth, bus some peaks for young players, like Barco, which grew by two points once.
This could be due to a string that asks how many training seasions must a player recieve before growth and the growth factor, which I set to value 2. So, in the reference period which is:
MONTH_TO_APPLY_GROWTH_1 = 3
MONTH_TO_APPLY_GROWTH_2 = 6
MONTH_TO_APPLY_GROWTH_3 = 10,
set by me, I trained Barco three times in a time period, set by the string
TRAINING_SESSIONS_FOR_MAX_MODIFIER = 3
which results in a double growth set by
TRAINING_MODIFIER_GROWTH = 2
TRAINING_MODIFIER_DECREASE = 1
However, the rest of the players seem to grow fine, except Leroy Sane, which refuses to grow....
There is some tuning to be done.
HuzzUK, what are your issues with frosty editor?
Mod Manager is not reliable at the moment, but the editor does all you need.
