I just launched the game today and it looks like it got upgraded again and lost the Bra Portuguese language.
Did Fifa update the game again for everyone?

Do we need new files for Commentary?

Perhaps, the global (Europe?) Region seems to contain DB files of all text languages.
To use an unsupported text language, you need to edit FIFA 18. exe with the Hex editor.
Also, to use an unsupported commentary language, enable that text language and place a commentary language file.

2. Select "Cesky" for "Game Language" in "Advanced Launch Options".
3. Save your changes.
4. Back up FIFA 18.exe
5. Open "FIFA 18. exe" with Hex editor.
6. Text type "cs_CZ" Search and edit to "ru_RU".
7. Text type "cze,cz" Search and edit to "rus,ru".
8. Search "ru_RU" in another place different from the above "6" and edit it to "cs_CZ".
9. Save your changes.

[Commentary Language Russian]
10.Download the Russian commentary language file and place it.

Did anyone manage to successfully change the language after 14/11 update provided by Hiroshi?
I change the .exe file using a hex editor but the language I want (bra Portuguese) doesn't show up in the options.

Which of the following is "options" that you are talking about?
Is it a language choice at origin?
Is it the national flag just after launching the game?
Is it a commentary language in the game?

Hi it's the National Flag one. It shows only the default languages even after editing the .exe file.

The first two updates (first two times you posted the localised commentary) it worked fine Language and commentary but now I haven't been able to add Brazialian Portuguese as a lanaguage option (flag option) after editing the .exe


I just don't remember which hex editor I used the first time but I'm not sure this could make any difference.

I did with French and followed the steps

6. Text type "fr_FR" Search and edit to "pt_BR".
7. Text type "fre,fr" Search and edit to "por,br".
8. Search for "pt_BR" in text type and edit to "fr_FR".

Just out of curiosity, wasn't the step 6 redundant? I mean I followed it but changing from fr_BR to pt_BR and then back to fr_FR doesn't seem to make any difference.

I have uninstalled the game, installed it again and used your file and it's now working. Thank you very much for your help.
Maybe the issue was some cache thing or the application I used to edit the exe file.


What is the Hex editor software you are using in the screenshot?

The HEX editor I use is "Stirling".
It is a classic HEX editor in Japan.

I tried it.
The game started with the old exe file.
We do not know how it affects each mode, so we recommend editing and using a new exe file.

Yes to min seems to have worked more in the way the journey when I read the comments of the followers is in French to the Portuguese invez so I think I will have to reinstall the game again and do it again! or repair by na origin and do the procedure again.
