FIFA 18 Career Mode Patch (Frosty Mod)

I found something weird, i use your mod with legends mod, I found something weird, every season for 6 straight seasons my midfield are the only ones scoring goals, i have 442 formation and my 2 strikers combined scored about 30 goals in all 6 seasons and they played 90% of the games. while my midfield Zico alone scores 35+ goals per season + 15+ assists. its very weird.

I don't seem to have that issue. Which game version are you on?

You can't even begin to blame his mod for that until you run the same sim tests 2-3 times, both with the mod and without, and for 6 seasons each. And then post the specific data to back up your claim. Otherwise it's just an anomaly or it's the way the default EA sim engine is programmed, and not an issue with the mod.

After alot of trying I got to manage to launch the game with mod applied but in the game there is nothing shown that mod is working, no training speed or abilities and stats are not revealed.

I'm using the last update of the game.

How do you know the mod is applied if nothing is revealed?

The tools will sometimes launch the game without applying the mod, I have had that happen many times. I know when it fails to apply the mod because my player edits don't show up in-game.

You first need to make sure the tools are working correctly, and that they in fact are launching and applying mods. I suggest you create your own small mod, then launch it and see if it applies in-game. If it does apply in-game, then you know for sure the tools are working correctly. You also know the conflict does in fact have something to do with this mod and with launching it.

Try v1.1 or v1.0 if you want a lot of goals scored by CPU(at the end of the season, some teams have 100 GD which is a bit unrealistic). Right now, If for example on sim, if Man City plays against Fulham or the worst team, they will win 8-0. However if it's a match between Man City vs Watford, it will be close like 2-0, 3-0.
This is not that what i mean. For an example: After a season in the first bundesliga teams like bayern munich or borussia dortmund have stats after 34 Games Played: 44:20, 30:14. So like in the vanilla game. I think there is something wrong with the mod beacuse i think after 34 games played: 70:34, 81:22 is more realistic. SO i think the mod isnt working or i do something wrong... idk

The mod definitely isn't working then. I got the opposite of you.

All i am saying is, because the mod adjusted the sim system the score line is much bigger now, but thats not the problem, the problem is in a game ended 9-1 both my midfielders scores super hattrick while my striker scores one if it even happened.

I am not complaining, i just find it weird, and yes it only happen when i apply the mod, when i applied only the legends mod strikers do something.

anyway, i love your mod specially the training part.

Like I said, unless you're willing to back up your claim with definitive proof that the mod is responsible for this, then it's an irrelevant observation, something that happened to you once, and only in one game from the sounds of it.

Sim 6 seasons without the mod, then post a comparison chart of the two results. If you're not willing to do that, then you can't claim you know the mod is responsible. Because you in fact don't know and have no idea.

BTW, I don't care if people complain or not. That has nothing to do with my comments. I'm talking about LOGIC. It is illogical to jump to the conclusion that there is something wrong with the mod, when you refuse to run a 6 season comparison test without the mod, and post the results of both so that we can clearly see and compare. If the two tests (with and without the mod) display similar results -- midfielders scoring an inordinate % of the goals every season -- then it's obviously an issue with the sim engine and not the mod.

You are not listening, i already said i tried it without the mod, in sims strikers are more relevant without the mod. however i didn't record any of that so i wont argue in this matter anymore unless i show proof. cheers.

PS: since the outcome of each game simmed is drastically changed when using the mod then "logically" it means the changes in the mod affected how the sim engine works.

The only logic in any of this, is that your claim is as meaningless now as it was three posts ago. You've provided no proof that the mod is responsible for your sim results. You've instead spent three posts now coming up with excuses as to why you won't post proof, even though you claim you've already proved it. And with that we've officially gone beyond logic and into the realm of internet conspiracy theory.

I was about to finish a the 6th season i believe so i decided to show you what i mean, obviously there is no way for me to get the rest of the other 5 seasons because why would i? at the end it is just a game, i am just trying to be supportive for your mod because i really appreicate it.

The only pattern on who score is based on stats and position. Nothing else. This is the code

As you can see, the scorer has the highest weight on finishing and the second highest weight on both heading and the position. And the main position being striker and midfielder just below it. However if you have a player like Ronaldo, Hazard, Messi, etc, and they have higher finishing than your striker, then they are more likely to score. Also things like tactical awareness and energy matters as well. It's either that some of the other's team main striker is injured or sold or you are running the wrong patch or the wrong version in your case. This is mine for my current season.

See? Just two charts with the relevant details is all we need to make an informed decision on whether your mod is causing MFs to score 2-3 times the number of goals that FWs do (the claim that KMSpade made here). And obviously the answer is no.

That's all I was asking you to test and post KMSpade. That's all you had to do in order to verify your claim. Would have taken you 15-20 minutes.

I knew where is the problem , the mod doesn't support the last update of the game and that is why it doesn't work at all.

Do you plan on updating the mod to support it or is there a way to delete updates from the game?

I am really scared to update the game because that ruins all my other amazing mods that I use(Paul's and Fidel's patches). I suggest keeping two different copies of FIFA 18. One that is connected with Origin and up-to-date for online play, the other downloaded from the internet to make sure it works without Origin so it can't make any changes to your mods. I really don't want to patch my current Origin version of the game as I also play online from time to time.

Same thing as saving a second set of FIFA 18 files in Origin: create a second editing project folder for use with the updated FIFA 18 files. Unpack the Frosty tools rar in a new folder, it's like installing the tools all over again and will need the key. Link it to the updated FIFA 18 folder. You can have two separate editing projects going, one with the 1.2 files, and one with the updated files.
