CLASSIC PLAYERS PATCH + ICONS TEAM FIFA 18 by BANDO80




This patch adds 153 CLASSIC PLAYERS (40 ICONS at maximum rating+ 23 CLASSIC XI + 90 Other classic)

With this patch all new players will be in free agents or in ICONS team. Every player has 17 years old and is possible assign him to any team and you can buy him in career mode.

V1: ALL PLAYERS ARE 17 YEARS OLD

V2: ONLY 143 LEGENDS ARE 17 YEARS OLD

- Extract CLASSIC PLAYERS FIFA 18.rar archive in a folder
- Start FrostyModManager then click Import mod, go inside extracted folder and import CLASSIC PLAYERS.fbmod

- Enable imported mods (tick or click in the mod title)

- Click Launch

Documents\FIFA 18\Settings.

– Load FIFA 18 and go to Customise, Profile, Load Squads and load the squad file BANDO80.
– Return to menu and enjoy the new features.

Thank you for this amazing work, but i have a weird problem, everything is going fine and i even see the loading screen you made in game, but i can't find any legends even when i followed all your steps.

That no doubt means the mod is not launching when you run Mod Manager, it is reading the default game files instead. Or you may have to reset squads when in-game, try that.

I managed to get the mod working, cheers mate, very sad there is some with no mini faces but cheers.

Is it possible to create a mod file with just Litmanen?
It really messes up the career mode when teams keep buying up all the Legends.

I'd be eternally grateful. Would be willing to even make a donation but I think discussion on that might violate some forum rules.

Open the teamplayerlinks table, locate the FA team, and delete the listed players. Literally takes 30 seconds.

And make a donation anyway if you're already using his file.

Teamplayerlinks table? Do you mean open with Cheat Engine and then delete FA players from there?
Also is it possible to edit the age of the player?

I can throw a few bucks for donations sure but where is the place to do that?

I wasn't serious about donating, people here offer their stuff for free. Just saying if you're willing to donate, then offer it freely out of appreciation for the person's work, and not as a bribe.

Not Cheat Engine. I mean editing the db via Frosty Editor, or Moddingway Converter method, or Fidel's CM 16 to 18 Editor mod. That's how these patches are all created, by using these tools to edit the game's player/team database.

But the regular db doesn't have the Legend players. That's what I initially tried. The editors don't touch the edited databases inside the game they just load up the default one.

If you load up Frosty editor and export the db's it's just the regular db without these players.
Any help would be appreciatied.

The Moddingway Converter allows you to access the db tables in any squads file, including the classic-patch squads file. You can then add/remove any players you wish. I wrote a tutorial:

I also created a db file with all tables ready to edit (fixed the bogus 0 value issue that occurs during initial export process):

Other options:

-Transfer the classic players to the MLS and Aussie League teams, and other such teams you never play in career mode. You'll never see most of them after that.

-Lower ratings on any classic players you don't want. The CPU will never play them. You can do that with the in-game editor. But it's probably faster learning how the tools work than doing it that way, one player at a time lol.

I will probably edit the db files. Seems like the easiest way. Thanks for the help.

So is there any fast way to delete the players from the FA team within the db Master? Or do I have to look up every classic player ID separately and delete them?

Use DB Master with Excel, and you can delete them all at once in seconds as I said. Open the teamplayerlinks table, locate the FA players by the FA team ID, then delete those 100+ rows.
