Software for editing cmsettings, and other ini files?

Is there a program that does this for FIFA 14? I tried with File Manager but didn't find any of the tournament/career file settings in there. Can I get some help finding these?

Sorry, I should have been more precise. I know what you physically use to make edits, I'm saying: where is cmsettings in FIFA14 and with what program do I get to it to extract it?

I believe it's \FIFA 14\dlc\dlc_FootballCompEng\dlc\FootballCompEng\data\cmsettings.ini

You should be able to extract it with File Master if I'm not mistaking.

Ok, just tried that. See, that's what I didn't know because I didn't have File Master. Had to look for it. What makes it complicated is that I'm trying to edit FIFA 14 but with Classics Patch where several of the main game files have been reworked, modified, placed in different folders, etc. The file structure looks different to a regular FIFA14 install.
What I've done is installed the cmsettings editor by Fidel and that seems to have exposed it somehow. I'll edit and see it it works.

Yea there's always a higher risk for errors when editing/combining multiple mods. I guess you'll have to test your way forward.

I would also advise you to keep multiple backups as you progress through your work, so that you'll be able to step backwards should anything go wrong.

And as I always say; should you discover anything, please share it with the rest of us.
