Can someone please tell me if the teams are supposed to have text names in the menus and in-game or only logos? I don't know exactly what to do with the locale file.

All teams should have names. Did you overwrite the existing file?

Yes, but is it important when I do that? Before or after regenerating? Do you regenerate after?

Regeneration should not be necessary.
Open Creation Master and inspect the "generic" tab for a new club (not national team), e.g. Rodez. Are there name strings for all 6 variations?
If not, copy the contents of data\loc\ from the patch download file to your game again, and inspect in CM16 again. Any changes?

The strings weren't there. But I recopied the data\loc folder and everything is fine. Thank you!
Just a small question out of interest: why wasn't the play by play already in FIFA16 from the women's game used for this mod? Just to hear "she" instead of "he"?

For German language, we have a working audio file which is completely female. We will also do this for other languages, perhaps with the next patch.

Female names and appearance. I would guess male physics as they are set as male in the DB.
have you ever tried it before?

Yes, I was not paying any attention to the physics though, only appearance. Regens are always as male, I think it is hard coded. However, they appear female in game due to a lua function.
