Everywhere I read, I see only PC, XBOX and PS4 mentioned, nothing about nintendo switch. Seems like we wont get the update. There must be another way to get these faces right?

Would an rx3 file conversion be possible though?Yes is possible, you can extract all you want for example Del Piero Hair:
Yes with Frosty editor export the mesh in .fbx format and convert them with Fifa importer-exporter 0.66 for Blender by Arianos
