Did you try to add more leagues?
Do you know if there are any limitations on player/team/league ID?
No more leagues than what was added in the original release. With the addition of the CONMEBOL Recopa & Suda Americana (smaller competition for v2.02).
As for the limitations, these are explained in small detail in this thread and in various threads on the forum. Far too many for me to explain right now I am afraid.

Harry I have some related selection kits and I also like to modify the players in cm14 example lowering the age the stamina jump speed etc. this affects the career mode with danger of crash?

Hi. I saw that you tagged me. I was reading quickly but if I understood are you thinking of reuniting your patch? I did it recently and we also benefited from the point of view of both graphic and db fixes. With a single ID setting for players, stadiums, teams, balls, shoes, gloves you can make small changes to multiple DBs in a few minutes. I work on 4 DBs simultaneously. If I activate a face (example) I don't need to open the CM 4 times and activate it manually. I activate the face in a database, extract the table with the DB Master and re-import it into the other DBs. In this way I have the data always updated and easily editable at any time. This from the DB's point of view. From the graphic point of view you save a lot of space. Currently the FIFA 14 folder with the classic occupies 71 GB. First on two separate patches about 125 gb. And then if you change a face you change it throughout the patch. It is very convenient but if the patch is full of teams and players not present in the DB, the space in the "playersname" and "dcplayersname" tables is not enough. I'm with the gas tube because I only have 37 spaces in the "dcplayersname" table.

If you need the stadium table, whistle and send it to you :)

I can only add leagues and teams with their respective kits to FIFA! but I can't get it to work, I still don't get that in the trophies section! I am going to create the teams and leagues in fifa14 again, and then you tell me what file I have to send so that only teams and leagues are sent, I will try it Thanks!

That option will be removed in future versions.

Most languages will be updated in the next release. I've already mentioned the issue with requesting funds. I'm sorry, at the moment I can't support people who are trying to make their own modifications.

I have been saying to many people recently that I don't have any plans to add new teams and leagues outside of those we agree within the FIP team. However, if the teams are created and complete including kits then that is a lot easier to incorporate into any future patch. If you are making the teams anyway then they could be used.

If I can find the old themes I will upload them.

The latest release is not too far off now.

This will be fixed in a future release.

Does it always crash? Does it crash if you simulate?

I took some time off modding to do other stuff. I am back now. Remember I'm not a robot. :)

It all depends on what you edit. So giving a 100% correct answer isn't easy. Everything you add or change can cause a crash. Adding a face can cause a crash. Adding kits can too. Anything really. So you will have to test all of those things you add. That's why creating the mods takes such a long time. Random files cause crashes. Also if you try to edit the tournament structure that will definitely cause a crash unless you know what parts have to be reinstated from the original. In general, any changes you make shouldn't cause a crash in career mode as long as you backup the following folder and reinstate after editing.

As you can see from my answer it isn't a simple yes or no. There are also so many variables that it is very difficult for me to help people when they mod the mod and it breaks.

Yeah, like I say I am open to discuss with them the best way forward. I suspect we all use stadium server anyway so we would only be doing this for people who download the mods. So the appetite to spend hours adjusting db's, inx files and stadium files may not be there. We also use different preview files I suspect. so it's not a small job.

Nothing to check. I suspect that Deportivo La Coruna did better in head to head games against Valencia

The conversation was more along the lines of you and I merging our stadium packs together. We could certainly do it with relative ease it just comes down to time and a couple of other issues.

Thanks for the tips, very useful. I already do the things you talk about. I have 8 different F14 mods as well as a number of mods for F15-F20 which I use scripts to merge the db. Have you filled up all the 65535 lines for playernames?

Enjoyed a little break from modding last week. We are now approaching the fun time of modding, where everything starts to come together. I can see the light through the trees :) I have finished v2.02 today. Basically that version is v2.01 with all the below fixes done, new boots assigned and the new stadiums added. Which makes it sound like not a lot, but believe me a lot has changed. Existing careers will not work with v2.02.

That is where versioning will come in...

@HarryBullZak I noticed that all players whose names contain letters such as (č ć ğ ž etc) do not appear correctly on jersey like Gündoğan, Rebić and Mandžukić etc unlike real or other versions of FIFA. Can you solve this problem?

Are you sure it isn't made on purpose?
Many "user-made" fonts lack those accented letters so they'd result in strange characters... If it's done on purpose, I find this a clever way to "compromise" between having new fonts and making sure there's no missing letters here and there.
I know that the EPL fond is made by EA so it would display those accented characters correctly, but... Just imagine Kovacic being transferre to, say, Parma... And Parma having a user-made font which lacks those accents.
I bet you see what I mean...

I understand what you mean but these letters are found correctly in all leagues in real and in other FIFA versions. In addition, there are similar letters are found correctly in FIFA 14 such as í é ã ö ü ú etc. So, the problem represented in some letters that can be solved like the rest of the letters.

Personally I don't think having a shirt name Gundogan and not Gündoğan is an issue since that's the fonts we have at hand.

Sometimes a particular font doesn't even have the 'standard' letter version, now that's an issue.


If you reallty need to have Gündoğan on the shirt in every font possible in the game, you can try software like FontForge, open every font, look for all those diacrytics and if they happen to be there, insert them in the right slots. If they aren't there you might try creating them.
But I don't think any of this is either feasible or important enough for the effort it takes.


@HarryBullZak One more thing I wanted to ask you, I saw in your 18-19 mod you had short 1 second vp6 videos acting as bootflow intro/outro skippers. Which software did you use to create/convert vp6 videos? I must have a tried a dozen tools and there's always some error.
