I think I have found the issue that is causing the crash when people use player search. I need help testing, please.

Instructions:
- Backup your current db using Version Manager
- Inside Version Manager, select 'FIP14 v2.11 - Base' and click Apply
- Click 'yes' when asked
- Click 'Ok' on the success box
- Download this file: http://www.mediafire.com/file/tfjalus2kovotg9/FIP14_v2_test_db.rar/file
- Unpack and Install directly into your FIFA 14 folder
- Click 'Yes to all' when asked if you want to overwrite
- Regenerate with File Master or Creation Master 14/15
- Open FIFA 14 game
- Select English as the language
- Start a new Career mode
- Go to Search Player and carry out searches for players. Please try searching by player names and also by the position

The result here should be that absolutely nobody who helps me test will experience a crash.

Please help with testing. I need as many as possible to give it a try. I will not be able to release any further updates until this has been fully tested.

Now, I don't know is it just me, or the placebo effect, but it really transformed the gameplay for me!
I know it shouldn't really, but I just reached the Swedish Cup semifinals with Atvidabergs!

Step 2: Save as replay0.bin, save it to desktop
Step 3: Go to Documents / FIFA 14 / instance0 and delete the replay0.bin that we have

Yes, it makes a difference to the smooth running of the game because it stops the game from recording replays in the background. It's funny, because the game is so old these tips are often 'lost'. IE. I had done this when I first installed FIFA 14 almost 7 years ago and completely forgot about it until it was posted by Roger_07

I can't replicate any crashes with Bournemouth or Astana. Can you give more detail? Was it in Career mode?

Yes, It doesn't seem to be limited by the system - as I first thought. It currently seems to be a random bug

1-Creation Master gives an error "invalidargument=value of .." when trying to view some faces. i.e. Messi, Griezmann, Lacazette..this actually affects quite a lot of players (over 5000). But it's an easy fix. Using DB Master export table "players", open in excel and look for the "facialhairtypecode" column, use filter and change all values of 8 or above to anything between 0-7 and re-import again. I am sure you can just bulk-load any value between 0-7 for all of those, since "facialhairtypecode" only affects appearance of the generic faces and these out of range faces are all specific faces anyway.

2-Generali Česká pojišťovna Arena (ID-111) is corretly assigned to Czech Republic, but should be also assigned to AC Sparta Praha (ID-267).

3-Anton Malatinský Stadium /City Arena/ (ID-124) is corretly assigned to Slovakia, but should be also assigned to FC Spartak Trnava (ID-100811).

4-Stade Roi Baudouin (ID-140) should be assigned to Belgium (ID-1325).

5-Wales NT (ID-1367) should be probably assigned to Cardiff City Stadium (ID-334) instead of Millennium Stadium (ID-103)

6-Stadio San Paolo (ID-87) is missing previews, they are included in Gonzaga´s rar packages

7-Stadium of light (ID-326) - Sunderland, some of the crowd levitates above the stadium

8-Bruno Fernandes (ID-212198) face is not good, his eyes are literally broken

Hopefully Gonzaga can help with the following..

9-Generali Česká pojišťovna Arena (ID-111) there are some left-over benchplayers siting on the bench without textures.

10-Vicarage Road Stadium (ID-347) /Watford/ and Dean Court Stadium (ID-348) /Bournemouth/ should be rotated, I know Gonzaga already did the same with Aston Villa.

Again, none of these are actually game-braking so its not that important. Thx

I just re-installed the all the texture files in the tournament folder from v2.00 to v2.11 and the stadium dressing works fine with the Stadium_Dressing_Overide set at 1 in the cl.ini. I suggest you all try to do this if you do not want to have the blue green dressing bug common in many Stadiums. I think the bug is as a result of missing texture files in the tournament folder. Just keep in mind that the King Power Stadium for instancewill not show its dressing if you do this but most stadiums work just fine. However,the UCL & Europa league dressings dont work if you change the Stadium _ Dressing_Overide from 1 to 0 judging from what i've observed.
One more important thing i have to mention is that all the other dressing apart from the UCL & Europa league dont work if you decide to delete the cl.ini.
