Wonder what other things I always considered impossible can actually be done?
- assigning different intro movies for different tournaments/leagues? (by the way Harry I'm still in search of proper conversion solutions from mp4 to vp6, no luck so far)
- altering pre-match cutscene sequences and angles? (e.g. I love the bird's eye view of the stadium Fifa does for some tournament modes and I'd like to implement it for friendlies too)
- assigning specific scoreboard IDs to leagues? (e.g. so that English PL and Russian PL use separate scoreboards; I know the best available solution now is the SB switcher)
- assigning chant IDs or exporting default chants and reassigning them as custom chants in MP3 (e.g. exporting the German chants Deutschland! Deutschland! file and reassigning it to other teams like German U21 team)

Different intros for different leagues, stadiums etc could be done by having a combination of nav, movie, and ini files. @ovide knows how to do it. Please share the method. Ariel and I have discussed doing intro videos, but I don't know if we will be doing it or not.
Honestly, if this was 7 years ago I'd look into all of this stuff, but I just don't have the motivation for it.

also try to take a look at it in the seasons 26/27 or 27/28 there are some players whose average drops drastically from 84 or 85 to 60 or less being 28/29/30 years old and that happens out of nowhere right after the end of the august transfer window, i do remember some players like steven sessegnon, harvey elliott, dominik szoboszlai and harry wilson and then two cb that i bought with an average of 86 and 81 being 26 and 24 years old but they were unknown created by the games itself

Editing .nav files are indeed the first thing, these files are the menu flows, they decide what will be visible on the screen when you go into a (sub)menu. They tell the game which screen/file to load and by seeing .nav files from the 2014 FIFA World Cup game for example (where there are stadiumintrovideos), you can see how a movie is loaded before a match (although in that case, it uses some scripts and external files that aren't in default FIFA). However it should be possible since we know the game loads .vp6 videos (like in the intro).

I have recently started working on .nav files to have more "screens/backgrounds" to be loaded in the game for example.

I NEED CAREER MODE BETA TESTERS
Hey guys, I am looking for some regular contributors to do some beta testing. I won't accept everyone to test so please don't be offended if I do not choose you.

This will not be a complete mod. The beta test is not intended for playing games. You will have random crashes if you try to play with some teams. It is just for simming career mode. Rosters have not been fully updated. No new elements will be supplied outside of what is required to test Career mode. It is just for testing career mode.
- Playing games is not needed
- Sim 3 seasons and check that the World Cup works correctly.
- Note that some leagues will take a little longer to load the next season especially if you are competing in many competitions
- Romania & Turkey have been fully tested

Things to look out for:
- Fixtures being too close together. minimum of two days between fixtures
- Objectives. For example, with Romania, I didn't get my league objective because although I won the play-off the objective was tied to winning the regular league. This issue may also affect Austria, Denmark & Poland. If testing these leagues please ensure that you choose the best team in that league and finish the regular season in 2nd-5th place, then win the play-offs in your first season.
- Crashes - specific dates, teams, leagues etc are important here

Ah, whoops. I've been mixing up formats with two games: FIFA 16 used the .vp8 format indeed, NBA Live 2005 which I used to download mods for also used .vp6 files which could be changed.

Maybe these tutorials could be useful? vp6 is a format that EA used for a variety of games, including NBA Live, Command & Conquer, EA Sports Cricket and Need for Speed.

That's a old bug that EA never fixed, I've had it happen to me in FIFA 14 and 2014 FIFA World Cup on two different platforms (PS3 and PC).

After the cutscene ends the sky returns back to normal, correct? It occurs very rarely for me though, most of the time it plays out as normal. Don't think there's a fix for it.
