yes the aim would be to make the script making it selecting parts of the kits and exporting it to actual template. This can be done manually but takes lot of time by selecting kits parts and pasting, resizing but that' also possible if we know exactly with a template which part of fifa 07 kit to select, copy, paste and resize to acutal template.

I did it a bit time ago, but I could just make it by dividing texture to pieces and importing by replacing. It saves all modifications.

really nice, I don't have PS access those days on my laptop it's not installed, do you think you can upload a example of converted 07 kit from original game to see result?

I remember when we did this with Ockham :)

Kit addon was not included into base patch until 3.0 (was separate download) but since 4.0 kits addon are added.

4.0 had already a little bit outdated for that season rosters for added lower leagues but kits inside are always up-to-date and are collection of the best kits by best kitmakers at the fifa 07 season :)

and if you want fifa 06 kits, this patch has all the kits you want but I don't have it anymore I think links are dead everywhere.


if not, you can still try to find fifa 06 CEP patch which also had hundreds of high quality kits

No worries, I think I took your reply as rude while it was not the case, it's ok too :)

Yes, we are aiming both:
fifa 09-10 conversion to fifa 14
fifa 07 conversion to fifa 14

fifa 05 and 06 too but the tool "kitmaster" allows to convert fifa 05 and fifa 06 kits into fifa 07 format by one click, so as soon as we got fifa 07 format to 14 then we get fifa 05 and 06 too ;)

fifa 08 is same format as fifa 09-10, only that the kit size is different but the template is the same, you can resize and get fifa 09 format kit :)

so in brief, fifa 07 and fifa 10 format are to be convertible to 14.

other thing, the patch CEP 07 I posted (verson 4.0) was a patch I worked on it at this time, and it has almost ALL the best kits by best kitmakers in it for the season 06-07, so it's useful as ressource :)
take care that CEP 5.0 has season 07-08 kits inside it was done during summer and was released with fifa 08 release (5.0 was released for 07 and 08)

CEP 2.0 was for fifa 06 and has all kits 05-06 from best kitmakers but the kits were in a kitaddon, I don't know if I can recover it

This means also having an easier expansion of classic teams for those season because the database are easily matchable to actual one (players ids, etc) and would spare hours of kit making convertion

Ps3 fifa 10 files are compatible with PC Fifa 11, so you can use the jersey files and use Fifa 07-Fifa 10 kits with tokke's converter
I should try that in Fifa 14 one day
