Oh by the way I managed to do it, I renamed this simphair file to the Cavani ID, regen it put and unchecked it in CM added hair regen it again and then it worked in the game. Thanks guys.

Concerning the simhair or the lack of it causing crash, could it be that all the players that are crashing the game without the simhair are actually crashing the game because they have a simhair file in the default game? So when we add custom files, then we regenerate, the game think all the files it needs are extracted in the folder but it can find that particular simhair file inside the folder.

I recently experienced a crash with Guardado. Messi simhair fixed the bug but gave me a really poor hair cut for Guardado (a mullet). Guardado has a simhair file in the default game, also Cavani, Modric and Cuardado all have a simhair file in the data_graphic2.big file which can be extracted with CGFE16.

That's exactly the case and Guardado was the other player I was trying to recall! This also mean that when you chose hair for a new face, you should also export the simhair for a better result (that is for FIFA 16 hair only though). For example I replaced Semedo's non-animated converted hair with some animated generic female ones and the result is very nice

So did you replace the Simhair file or did you replace that & all the other hair files?
