Hi Guys,
i got home and checked the files, but cannot find the issue. Can anyone else confirm this crash happening with cards?

@toritori: two short questions
1. which file set is it effected, white or red? Bundesliga or Bundesliga 2? (files are the same just may narrow it down where to look)
2. is it happing when ref is showing the card (7013) or after game resumes with free kick (7072)?

@RHZhang: Oh greatest master of scoreboards. If the crash is confirmed would you mind checking what I did wrong? I know you are busy so take your time.

Thank you for your answer! That's a good question.
I used only two scoreboards in Bundesliga 1 white and red. And when the referee showed the card, there was a collision in the scene where the player appeared. (7013)

Can we count on scoreboard Italian Serie B?

Checked again, and cannot reproduce the error. Do not find the mistake in the hex either. For the time being skip the cutscence then the game shouldn't crash. Sorry.

The only partial success I reached with the string “FONT_NAME_EPL”

The idea was that I change all overlays to “EPL” – the font used in the default premier league overlays - than replace the font file.

Step 1 (changing the HEX to “FONT_NAME_EPL”) was successful where the original value was “FONT_NAME_HEAVY” or “FONT_NAME_BUNDESLIGA”. In some overlays the value was already EPL but the font is not correctly used. Could not change it. Changing “FONT_NAME_BOLD” to EPL caused a crash. (Tried “EPL_BOLD” as well) So the result is just partial success again.

Step 2 changing the font file. In original FIFA is the file “premierleague1.ttf”. I extracted it to check the contents. When opening it is completely empty. I tried to replace the file with the DFL Sans but it only had the result that instead of the Premier League font the default EA one was used (but at least no crash). As mentioned a few times before I am not good with this topic so maybe someone has an idea. Whatever it is I will give it a try at least.

I will experiment further but if requested I can release Bundesliga in its current state end of next week after recolouring the textures.

PS: I will be offline the weekend. It’s Derby on Sunday. Even with chances for the fourth title in a row.View attachment 92136

hey man, thanks for your research
i tried again to get the same font (bundesliga) in all the overlays of your fantastic new popup's work.
i edited again all the ea fonts of the overlays with the hex tool, but unfortunately it didn't work. despite that, the font in the lineup overlay and in the scorebaord (never had problem in it) is correct. I didn't understand if this new techinque about the epl font has helped you to insert the correct font in some overlays

I think some of the fonts must be added directly into the game to be used in menus etc and they will be in some overlays.

There are 4 or 5 i cant remember fonts for game. They are named something like this: eahelveticaconbold-mod etc (4 or 5 fonts like that) but they always use -mod.

But that changes font in game also. So looks like its not possible to just replace overlays and have one font.

but originally overlays 7000+ were bundesliga overlays, so they should keep the bundesliga font, nothing new in game. I don't understand why once edited they changed the font putting the ea original one

unfortunately in the end it did not work. I could change the fonts "FONT_NAME_HEAVY" and FONT_NAME_BUNDESLIGA_REGULAR" to "FONT_NAME_EPL". This had the effect that overlay is using the default Premier League font. But with "FONT_NAME_BOLD" I alway got a crash as a result.
And the second step of changing the Premier League font i failed as well. But that may have to do with my lack of kwnoledge regarding the .ttf files.
Easily it only works with Overlays having the drive in Hex 0 and not Hex 1 (like the examples you mentioned ex 7002)

@nikolapfc89 is in a way right. @RobbieD_PL solved it this way in his patches for WC 2018 and EURO 2020. Why it is not working as simple as you think is that the templates for overlays that are in use are tailored from different sets. The one I am using has some overlays from a 9000+, some from a 6000+ and some from a 7000+, like most of I came across (check the hexes, you will see where they come from).
In this case a used my 9000+ set and renamed it to 7000+ so it is assigned to Bundesliga.
I am not good enough to create a completely new overlays, I just checked sets from others (like @nikolapfc89, @RHZhang or @Murillo 14) and took the ones I could make the most use of.

did you solve it?

Either I am blind and do not find the problem or it is something completely different than I expect. I think we can refer to it as an "epic fail".
But here as a work around try this file please and let me know if it worked. This is an "empty" overlay, so nothing will appear, but hopefully solves the crash at least. Let me know if it worked

No Scoreboard this time.
I was asked for a file to easily create embroidered logos.
I was not able to create one myself but found a free version by "Rochets" on Designer Wallet. Made some minor adjustments to overcome alignment issues.
Just replace the image with each colour of a crest, save as PNG or JPEG and than put it together and resize. Something like this will come out:

Great work! Please Coppa Italia?

This was @RobbieD_PL's idea.
I first was very enthusiastic, then after doing the research a bit less. 6 Pop-up sets, completely different style is a lot of work. But in the end I think it was worth it, it is even the first time that I am really ok with the result. So here it comes!!

ROAD TO QATAR 2022 GRAPHICS PACK!!

Contents:
-scoreboard overlays for all 6 confederations' qualifers
-two sets of wipes for all 6 confederations' qualifiers
-intro videos for AFC, CAF, CONCACAF, FIFA, UEFA Qualifiers
-bib sets for all 6 confederations' in 12 colours (only PNG)

Notes:
-Scoreboards are only compatible with FIFA16
-Wipes version 2 are compatible with FIFA 16 and 14, version 1 only FIFA 16
-CONMEBOL had no official design for the whole continent so i chose the one i liked best.
-UEFA: the crest are only correct as I used the International Tournaments 2021 patch from @RobbieD_PL.
-default wipes are the ones covering the whole screen and moving from left to right. Both versions are in a subfolder and can be replaced any time. No regeneration necessary.
-fonts are still limited as in previous releases. As soon I find the correct ones I will gradually update them.
