Different way using scoreboards

Hey guys, here is my method how I use scoreboards in game.



(1) Copy your 'game' folder and make sure you never edit that one.

(2) Download the scoreboard you would like, for example the SCOTLAND - Cinch Premiership in the example above.

(3) past the 'game' folder from SCOTLAND - Cinch Premiership in your UI folder.

(4) rename your game folder to 'Game - SCO Cinch Premiership' for example.

Now you can switch between different scoreboards by renaming them, make sure that every time you install a new scoreboard use a clean or original 'game' folder from FIFA 16. This method works with FIFA 16 running.

Never start or go back to the game without a 'game' folder, it will always crash.

I also do this, I created all the scoreboards on the basis of the game folder and only change them before each tournament. It works, but it would be nice if someone created a program for switching between scoreboards to make it easier. good luck to all!

about the movie files, I guess you can use the same method. the base file is named bootflowoutro and is located here:
FIFA 16\data\movies
so you can keep the vanilla file as backup, place the movie file you want in the folder and just switch names

now all the scoreboards' fonts are located in the font folder, so whatever scoreboard you might be using, the font will be loaded from its root folder

I don't know why this works different, but for some reason the movies aren't working for me with this method.

the gameplay and the gameplay itself changes if something in the game is changed or saved via CM, I can’t explain why, but it changes visually, what the hell? What did EA release with FIFA 16? I don't know, but the game hasn't left me for 7 years now!!! For me, it's realistic! maybe that's why there is no crack on it so far ...

Can't the .exe values from v1.0 be hex edited into v7.0? This is partly how the modders in the PES 21 community edit and improve gameplay. I've often wondered why this hasn't been done for FIFA16? I'm no expert at hex editing, but it would be great if someone that is, could take a look. Since FIFA 16 is the base for subsequent FIFAs (19, 20, 21, 22), maybe theres something that could be taken from those .exe to also help improve and upgrade the gameplay. There just simply has to be more experimenting to further unlock the game's potential.

I have downloaded my first FIFA 16 only in 2021 from origin so already updated.. How is it possible to have a 1.0 version working with origin? also PM if not interesting for others. Thanks

A good suggestion for who wants to change scoreboards or movies or everything else is to create a batch file (.bat extension) with the instructions so with one click only you can copy an paste whatever you want...

I have specific single patches for specific tournaments changing all, menu, soundtrack, and so on... and I can switch among them with a single click on a shortcut... and keeping specific settings preferences and saved tournaments and every other file I need to customize for each one.

there are two files... BOOTFLOWOUTRO.vp8 and FIFA_ATTR.vp8 (the latter is the one that goes automatically if you wait to press start ..

of course your videos must be converted in vp8 format... easy to do with CG File Expl

But if you want the movies instead of the skill games while match is loading you need also tho change the file in data/ui/nav folder... now I don't have pc with me so I can't tell you more..
