Excellent patch shines par excellence.

First of all thank you for making such a big project real for us, but I think you should not ignore the teams from the late 1990s to the first half of the 2000s.

Commenting that there are big leagues of those years that hardly take importance within the patch and if we consider the importance that the English league, the Spanish league and the German league have within football par excellence, I think that ignoring those leagues is a bit out of place.
The patch was initially focused around National tournaments and champions league, since 4.0 (25th december) leagues are going to be a thing, that´s why there are few teams from those leagues... besides that, GIGGI already said that he plans to focus on doing serie a (his national league), but that he´s open to receive independent projects with other tournaments (ex. the 2010´s addon from jbou). That´s why, in the future, we as a community could try and make some of the leagues , like nemoesc and brunog are doing with the french division, for example.

I have to announce that i'm actually planning to start working for trying to add the missing Serie A teams for years 2000-10.
I still have the huge table with all the teams that are still missing from those years so i'll keep track of how much work i need
I personally wanted to cover those seasons to give the possibility to play those years with modern graphics and the great game engine of the 14 (i have to remember that PC users had to wait until FIFA 11 to have the current game engine we have here) and also because i'm pretty passionate about the years from 1994 to 2006 circa, not only for football but also for a lot of other things...
and if i'm not wrong, finding the material for the years 2006-2010 it's probably going to be easy considering that i have the FIFA games from those years (only xbox 360 versions, idk if i can extract the kits templates from those games with also player faces and stats).
It's pretty ambitious and i'm currently looking forward to it so if someone already wants to help me for it, i'll accept that...

Not quite like that, but almost. The idea is that others can start creating not just single teams but possibly even entire leagues and release them as their own creations. Unofficial Add Ons. This is essentially for two reasons. The first is not to do anyone an injustice if perhaps their files were rejected either for poor relevance to the project or for mediocre quality. Because, if it's a question of an entire championship that was not done sufficiently, I can't spend days or months fixing those teams, humanly I wouldn't have the time and strength. So the invitation is that patches are released by third parties. I offer the patch as a basis with pre-made tournaments, tens of thousands of players already created and I ask for a sort of "right of first refusal" for jobs done right (so where I don't have to waste time fixing. I repeat, I don't have the time and the way) . The second reason is closely related to the first reason. That is to encourage active editing by users, as it once was. No more requests, but put your ass in the chair and create or at least try. It gives much more satisfaction to try to do something yourself. Then, develop or rather reactivate active editing within the community. Trying to raise new recruits to ensure that there can be a safe generational change as long as old people like me retire. I'm not eternal but the project can be... You can make FIFA 14 become a sort of FIFA CLASSIC over the years. Turning a chapter of a game into its own game.

Assigned referees to various national leagues for top 5 leagues through 1949-50. That's why I've been "silent" for two days. I'm doing jobs where there's little to post pictures. Just a big internet search to assign the various referees.
Do the random/colourful referee kits work/appear in customized tournaments now? I played customized league with National Teams and single season clubs in one of older CP versions and I remember all the refs had default black kit.

In custom tournaments, the default jerseys are loaded, not customized per tournament. There, they are deliberately black, all rigorously black. They must be as generic as possible for each decade. Theoretically I should remove the FIFA logo from the chest..

Is it possible to assign somehow to customized tournament random colour referee kits? It's a little bit problematic when you want to play black kit team and ref is black as well. With random referee kit the possibility of having black ref/black team or yellow ref/yellow team at the same time is smaller.

Until 1992 the shirts were strictly black and only rarely red or white. During the history of the World Cup and European Championships only two times have shirts other than black been used. In 1974, a red shirt was used because Scotland's shirt was too dark. In 1992 a white shirt was used (I don't remember the match). So, being the patch developed over 100 and over years I have to keep them strictly black. If you put colored versions you will also find them on a customized tournament from the years 00-10-20-30-40-50-60-70-80. And this is not good.

I'm building the base structure and referee settings for the various decades. I don't think I'll be able to get to 1900 in a short time but at the moment I've arrived at DB 1940. Like an electrician I'm creating the system to be able to insert sockets or switches. Same thing. I'm starting to sort out and prepare the various decades for single season teams. Probably many of these leagues will remain empty but in the meantime I'm starting to create them. As you notice they have no nationality set so they are invisible in the game but only on the CM. Entering these leagues makes it easier for existing referees to be assigned to the various leagues.

PS. The Gauliga logo was deliberately censored due to the presence of the swastika. I do not want to have trouble or misunderstandings on the forum. In the patch obviously the logo is perfectly visible, without middle fingers...

This is the situation for the various single season leagues.

I decided to assign various colors to make it clear how we are.

WHITE = "unexplored area"
BLUE = Leagues created but without a team, therefore, hidden
BLACK = Championships not played due to WWII
YELLOW = Leagues created with at least one team but tournament structure yet to be created
GREEN = Leagues created with at least two teams and with the tournament structure already created
RED = Leagues not part of the project but prepared in the IDs and all for those who work on post 2010 "spin offs"

Have you thought about including the Finalissima competition which is held every few years and there have only been three in its history since its inception in 1985?

Milan.

Milan has just hit a record. Currently the patch starts, for single season teams, from 1955-56 to 2009-10. Milan is the first and so far the only team to feature in every season featured in the patch

It would break another record if you could add their most recent version from 2010 onwards
