I definitely think that Bautista deserves another opportunity with the national team. He had an incredible season with Morelia. He's one of Mexico's best forwards. Stupid Lavolpe. If we don't win the Gold Cup, he should go back to Argentina for having lost a tournament basically setup to give us a good opportunity to win.

Yeah that match was great Thats why I especially love when Univision is in charge of the matches, they always search out hot chicks in the crowd.... also there sport show Republica Deportivo isn't bad either

This really makes me sick.


Lavalope isn't stupid guys, I understand you want to see the top Mexican players playing, but the Gold Cup is an opportunity for Lavolpe to test young players and to build character to them. We all can safely say that Blanco is a great player, but unfortunally his time is coming when he needs to retire.

So this is a time, where there is no pressure, so that Lavolpe can test young players and to strengthen their character.

He is thinking on the long term not the short term for Mexico.


Then next year is the qualification for Germany 2006 and that is where the test ends for young players.


Its all because of the Mexican Media, I believe that the Media is pressuring Lavlope to bring in the star players, however they are not thinking on the long term effect that lavolpe is bringing to the national team.


Lavolpe is trying to open the eyes of these young Mexicans, and he did comment that he would like to take these young players to Europe to teach them of example.


Like for example, France in 1998, who would of thought France would win the world cup that year? Even the media thought France would end up 6th or 7th in that world cup, but special elements made the suprise.

Special key players, the development of those players before 1998.




And that my friend is what Lavolpe is trying to do, but the media won't do any good to him.

Mexico hadnt won that cup for 5 years know, its a MUST win cup not a test cup its time to prove if Mexico is the best in CONCACAF or not, we dont want more games like against El Salvador

And players like:Zepeda,Osorno,Juan Pablo
have been tested before many times even more than Bautista and Morales, and they play crap. Morales and Bautista are young too and a lot better than those crappy players why Lavolpe dont give them a chance?? (Another player: Cacho)

If he is trying to develop new young talent then why in the hell were the four players that were cut from the Gold Cup roster all YOUNG players? Rergis, Rubirosa, Trujillo and Brown

Well probably because to his belief, these young players are probably not ready. I must remind you guys building character among the young players takes time, not by just a few games.

Like i said before; all those players have been in national team since 2000, after they failed to qualify to the olympics
