Firestorm Dual Analog 2 OR Logitech Duel Action???

As we all know that we're gonna have to buy a new gamepad for when FIFA04 is released, I have the choice of either buying the Firestorm Duel Analog 2 (the cheapest) or the Logitech Duel Action?? Please tell me what you think of either controller. Thankz.

Firestorm Thrustmaster all the way!!!

I got the cordless one, but I had to return it because it was having interference problems with the cordless mouse/keyboard. So I got the one with the cord, and it works like a charm and it totally awesome!

I do not recommend the firestorm. THe right analogue didn't work with FIFA 2003. Hopefully this will be fixed in FIFA 2004, but I wouldn't risk it.

Logitech gamepads seem to work best with EA games.

the only issue here is whether the right analogue stick will work this time around - apart from that in my eyes the thrustmaster is the very best gamepad for fifa out there (money's not even an issue)

and to be honest, in fifa2003 having the right stick not working didn't change things one bit - it was a part of the game no one really used, altough it seems it'll be different this time so i hope fifa2k4 supports firestorm otherwise heads will fall :boyaka:

i have the dual analog and found a way to get the right analog stick working with the game (didnt work it out myself but someone else on the forums did). It was changing something around in the registry and then the stick worked fine.

any 1 want the instructions just ask.

I have both the Thrustmaster Firestorm Dual Analogue Wireless and the Logitech Wingman Cordless Rumblepad. Both have the same number of buttons, and there is no doubt in my mind that in every possible category the Logitech gamepad is far better.

- Feels a lot more stable
- Analogue sticks are easier to use
- Buttons are better quality and in better places
- The wireless part of the Thrustmaster often stopped responding, the Logitech one doesn't
- Works properly on all EA games and every other game I have tried so far

If you want the best possible gamepad, get the Logitech Wingman Cordless Rumblepad. They are at the higher end of gamepads so aren't the cheapest, but I feel you get exactly what you pay for.

yeah I also have the FireStorm Dual Analog 2, and in the begining it DID work with FIFA 2003 totaly, but as the time passed... it didn't work that well... :( you couldn't assign all the buttons.. weird.

Does anyone know if we'll be able to use the PlayStation2-to-USB converters to play FIFA 2004? Since I have a PS2 control, and I would rather buy a converter, instead of buying a new gamepad.

I have FireStorm Wireless and i can say this pad suxx.
1) D-Pad is too small (FireStorm Digital has much bigger) and tight - after 30 minutes you cant feel your finger. Its also hard to control diagonals - 50% of time you'll get vertical or horizontal directions instead of it.
2) Analog sticks are aufull for fifa control - they have prominent top. Its very difficult to play with it.
3) My pad had uncalibrated sticks.
