i dont understand this mode,,as we can set our own rival games in the exhibition mode...

In one of the Making of Movies at the Ea site it was mentioned. It's about having matches with arch-enemies and derbies. Expect more aggression, players going all out, blah blah blah.....

Sounds like a silly mode to me :)

i think its like this

when arsenal play man utd in rival mode..players will try harder..be more aggresive..etc

Apparently, in rival mode you get more chants, more cut-scenes, herder challenges and stuff like that, I don't know if winning rival matches gives you more prestige points or not,m we'll ave to wait and see.....
