editing the nets movement?

Hey...does anyone know if it's possible to edit the movement of the nets in fifa 2004? I really don't understand why Fifa makes such poor nets. The graphics are very cool, but everyone who loves soccer probably likes to see great goals hitting a beautifull net. Sometimes it's almost like a box of steel...
It's pretty much the only downside as far as I'm concerned. It took some practise to get used to the gameplay, but I really start to like it more and more.

Does anyone agree?

Ah! Thanks for the tip! That's a very interesting thread. I'm going to fool around with those settings.

All this editing stuff is pretty cool. I'm trying to find out if it's possible to increase the nets movement a bit more. Does anyone know where to find the code for the nett physics? It would be cool to make 'em really bang!

Tip for Fifa 2005: Create more different nett and goal structures. That would deffinately increase the fun of playing against different opponents.

I agree

Hi jms ,
I agree with you 100% about the nets , it is really annoying .
The nets were ok in world cup 2002 . If you solve the problem please post the solution here !
Thanks

Hi Garifornia,

I was thinking the same thing. In Fifa 2002 it felt very real to score a goal, but since 2003 EA seems to forget about one of the most important things in soccer. They should be careful not to make it a chessgame without passion. After a while the scoring gets boring this way. That's why I'm hoping that there will be some sort of fix for it. Hehe...I just wish I was smart enough to fix it, but at least I'll give it a try. It would make the game 50% more fun if not more.

So far I can only come to one conclusion about 2004...they rushed it out of the door and it's upsetting a lot of people. Without the bugs and missing things it looks like a very good game, but that's what probably makes it so frustrating. Damn we were close this year! With Konami in the back of their necks this really wasn't the right time for them to throw an unfinished game out. Maybe next years sales will teach them a lesson. There are moments in life when you just can't effort to make any mistakes. This year was such a moment for EA.

(wow...I do sound like my grandfather!;)
