Sukur Or Tuncay?

Who's better? Just having an arguement with my friend.

Like to see what you guys think.

Tuncay was pretty impressive in last years Confederations cup.

Tuncay BY FAR IMO... Hakan Sukur is old and doesnt have future anymore.

Sukur is a striker. He plays his position and has a good head on the ball. Tuncay is better overall IMO. He can play midfield, att. midfield and striker. He has the speed and the technique that makes a good foward, but is more of a team player than Sukur. I'll say Sukur is the better striker, but not the better player.

sorry, but I think you can't even compare Tuncay with Hakan Sukur. Sukur is the first one who scored over 40 goals in the Turkish national team... one aspect of many.
Tuncay is a great player too, but I'd still prefer Hakan Sukur.

True, but right now Tucay is way more useful than sukur is.

You can never replace Sukur's leadership but tuncay is so polite, and respected when he's sukur's age he'll be thought of the same way.

Well both can play at the same time.....And IMO Hakan is a better finisher....I would have Hakan and Nihat or Ilhan up front and have Tuncay right behind them playing Att. Mid. Then Emre, Yildiray and Hasan Sas or Okan. And on Defence i wouldnt know but Rustu in net......

Hakan Sukur is very old now..i guess he's 34 or 33..well, around that ages..

Tuncay is a class player. He did well in NT and Fenerbahce. IMO, at the moment, Tuncay is more valuable. so i'll say Tuncay..

For the fact it's funny, considering how overrated Tuncay is on CM.

First of all you can't compare a striker over an attacking midfield (Tuncay is a forwad as well but not a striker). But if you really want to compare these 2 different players then here it is. Tuncay has better control on the ball and faster then Hakan Sukur. But Hakan Sukur is better in the air and great one touch playmaker. Each player has ups and downs. I would never waist Tuncay as a striker, he is a great attacking footballer. Tuncay should play behind Hakan Sukur with his fast paste he is usefull there. Hakan is perfect for a striker, he is tall and head the ball very well.

I would like to compare Jardel vs. Hakan Sukur not Tuncay vs Hakan Sukur.

Jardel did wonders for Gala. Without him during that season they would have been nowhere as far as they went.

Didn't he score like 32 goals? or was it 34...

If I am not mistaking Jardel scored 19 league goals that season but he played like half of the season, I really don't know how many goals he scored in total though. Hakan Sukur served Galatasaray for many years and scored just over 200 goals for Galatasaray and this is his 200th http://hakan.sukur.tripod.com/gol200.mpg in the LEague. He is the top goal scorer for the Turkish national team.

This is a Hakan Sukur Class, he would repeat these goal over and over and over..... for the past 7-8 years a goal against Bologna in the 2000 UEFA Cup match http://hakan.sukur.tripod.com/hakantobolona.mpeg

Sukur purely for taking no time at all in scoring against South Korea in the WC 3rd place match.
