THE PATCH FOR FIFA FOOTBALL 2004


I N S T A L L A T I O N:

Almost everything has already been installed automatically.
Only 3 things need to be installed manually:

1. The stadiums
...are located in the folder "...\FIFA 2004\EURO Patch\Stadiums"
and have to be installed with the ECP Stadium Installer
(download @ www.FifaECP.com).
If you have Problems with the Stadiums then open in the folder
"...\FIFA 2004\data" the "fatGUI" Programm and click on > Process.


2. The EURO modus
...is located in the folder "...\FIFA 2004\EURO Patch\EURO Modus".
To gain the possibility to play the real EURO 2004 finalround in FIFA 2004
you've to copy the tournaments (or one of them) from the folder
"...\FIFA 2004\EURO Patch\EURO Modus\user"
in the folder "...My Documents\FIFA 2004\user"

in the user folder are the Euro 2004 tournaments
tournament0 --> POR = Portugal
tournament1 --> GRI = Greece
tournament2 --> SPA = Spain
tournament3 --> RUS = Russia
tournament4 --> SCH = Switzerland
tournament5 --> KRO = Croatia
tournament6 --> FRA = France
tournament7 --> ENG = England
tournament8 --> DÄN = Denmark
tournament9 --> ITA = Italy
tournament10 -> SWE = Sweden
tournament11 -> BUL = Bulgaria
tournament12 -> TSC = Czech Republic
tournament13 -> LET = Latvia
tournament14 -> GER = Germany
tournament15 -> NIE = Netherlands

in the game you can load this tournaments !


3. The sounds
...can be implemented in your FIFA by (after you've runned one or
the both sounds-installer) starting the "chantimp.bat" in the folder
"...\FIFA 2004\data\audio\chants".

- original kits in 2GK quality (home, away, keeper, some trainings)
- original chants and national anthems (optionally)
- almost 150 (partially 2GF) faces! (see "Facelist.txt")
- new pop-up logos
- all EURO 04 stadiums (new built and converted from EURO 2004)
- Adidas Roteiro ball
- original squads and numbers
- skills, formations, and so on updated
--> Netherlands, Bulgaria and Latvia added
(everything is updated, you'll not notice that those teams are added later)
> Bulgaria replaces Korea (ID 974)
> Latvia replaces Tunisia (ID 1391)
> Netherlands replaces China (ID 1413)

Fifa 2004

This patch blows.

I could not configure my controller, and when I went to play it, crashed every time. Switched back to play regular FIFA, and couldn't resume my career - it just booted me to the desktop.

Had to uninstall FIFA, reinstall, repatch.

At least add an uninstall, Chuckles.
