The bright side

There should be at least a couple of stadiums from every league .
One more premiership stadium , yes pathetic !

Looking on the bright side , at this rate we should have all the premiership statiums in the game in Fifa 2020 :crazyboy:

Not surprised that we didn't get any South American stadiums - we'll be complaining about the absence of Maracana, Azteca and La Bombanera til FIFA 2010. EA Sports show very little respect to Latin American football.

What is ridiculous is no Portugese stadiums. Porto are the European champions! Where is there stadium?!

Monaco finished runner up, where is the Stade Louis II?

Speaking as an EPL fan primarily, I have to say that including St James Park at the expense of some of the great European stadiums is a JOKE! Newcastle aren't even going to finish top six this year. Celtic are in the Champions League, why not Celtic Park?

As for Greece and Turkey, both stadiums and leagues, it's clear again the EA have little interest in Eastern Europe. Greek, Turkish and Czech leagues are rated higher by UEFA than the Scandanavian leagues, yet every year we get the Tippeligaen or whatever the hell it's called (no offense Norsemen!).

Also, italianstallion, if you are talking about Munich's Olympiastadion, I read on these boards that there's a licensing issue. If you were referring to Roma and Lazio's Stadio Olimpico, I couldn't agree more, where is it?

And further more, where are Dynamo Kyiv, Fenerbahce, CSKA Moskva and Shaktar Donetsk?! There are two answers:
a) In the UEFA Champions League
b) NOT in FIFA 2005

Scandalous, it really is.

As a big fan of Ajax I'm pleased to see the Amsterdam Arena again. But the list is a bit dissapointing, I agree.

Arena auf Schalke (where CL final was played)
De Kuip or the Gelredome as second stadium from Holland
Stadio Olimpico (allthough generic olympic style comes close)
A Portugese stadium (I mean, it was EURO2004 not so very long ago)
A Greek stadium (as honour to the new Euro champs)

It's a sign that not much attention has been paid on stadiums. I hope the gameplay and realism of player(face)s, kits, chants and flags, as well as good edit-possabilities for players and leagues + cups compensate a lot....

I really wanted to see the Stade Louis ll, Riazor, Dragao and at least the Olympiastadion:rolleyes: there's like 5(if I'm not mistaken) English stadiums, but only 2 Serie A stadiums:kader:

What's even worse is that teams original (?) chants go with the stadiums, so you wont hear anything familiar unless ur teams stadium is in the game...

I'll give you one more chance EA. If it's not in the game next year, we're through!

The Premier League is the best one for the atmosphere and the supporters, but concerning football quality there are 4 or 5 good clubs not more and if you take all the foreign players out ,well...
it's probably the 5th in Europe. La Liga and Serie A are the best ones, IMO
So I would say, don't be so arrogant It's already a scandal that there are 4 English divisions in Fifa !

Premiership 5th In Europe? Are you smoking the crack? The only league better than England is the Italian league. That's right, the Spanish is only the 3rd best, and Germany pulls in to 4th, due to some craptastic clubs in the league (cough::Hannover::cough). You want to talk 5th best? Go to France...Or maybe Portugal...either one.

And as for the whole stadium thing, everyone really needs to stop getting so pissed off about it. You don't see me crying over the lack of the Volkswagon Arena. The teams could play in my backyard for all I care, I'm here for the ability to play as my team, not play in some stadium I never plan to go to in my life...

You've got your opinion, I've got mine. I still think that the Premiership is a little bit overrated. ( maybe not 5th but surely 3rd or 4th)
Ok there are 5 big clubs but apart from that ...
I just wanted to react to the guy above who just seems to know the Premiership in Europe
Concerning the stadium stuff, there are a part of what makes Fifa games because they create the atmosphere .
You don't care about them but lot of people do
:p

I'm happy with the stadiums list, I only wanted one new stadium, and I got it!
and overall, I'd say the premiership's 2nd best in Europe, behind La Liga and ahead of Serie A. The Bundesliga's 4th, then the French in 5th

afaik, none of the lower divisions (or at least most) which were not included are semi-professional or even amateur, whereas the Coca-Cola Championship, League 1 and 2 consists of all fully professional teams. (i.e. you dont get butchers, bakers, postmen etc playing football part-time) Anyhow, we all know that EA only targeted this market for the commercial value.

Sorry Hercules and othe British friends, my goal was not to do a
remake of the 100 years war ! ;)
I just exagerate on purpose because I do think that the English football Fifa fans have a lot more than the other ones and then comes a guy who want all the English stadiums !!!
And concerning the level of the different big leagues it's also a matter of preference and point of view.
The results of the UEFA and CL matches show every year that it's difficult to make a true ranking

PS: Hercules, I also want the Welsh Premier in Fifa :rockman:
