You can't compare the Dutch NT with Bayern. I have to repeat myself, it took him a month to adapt to our game until he finally scored his first goal.

In the nt he always has at least one forward next to him, sometimes even. That's not his game. Bayern usually play with Pizarro as a second striker but he's just there to work in the offensive midfield and help out on the defensive end. Makaay can fully concentrate on the offense and counter attacks. The whole Bayern game is based on him.

That's not the glorious style Holland use to play so he's pretty much useless and he can be given a German passport and play for us instead. (H)

Yeah, good points although repetitive :p

But I'm not losing sleep because Roy is not scoring or isn't first choice. We have enough good strikers. Ruud is playing Wednesday. Kluivert's not even selected. Kuijt is still young. It's all good (H) The fact that we play with wingers is the biggest difference tho.

We'd trade you Makaay for someone from your team.. but you've got nothing we don't already have :fluffy:

mate do you think us macedonians are racist??? and if so how the fk could you understand what we wer waying if you went to skopje??? sounds to me like someone is very ashamed of his team and cant accept the result?? its pathetic really!!! its like my friend said, he said: pavle you will never get the respect you and your team really deserve because you are a small team!! and it is true!!!

1. Don't drag me into a race discussion by saying "Do you think us macedonians are racist?". I'm sure you're not racist, but some in the crowd were. It doesn't take a genius to understand what the crowd means when they're making jungle sounds whenever a black player is on the ball. The Dutch F.A. filed an official complain and UEFA will look into it.

Adding to that, I wasn't just talking about Macedonia, I was talking about eastern European/Balkan countries where these things happen more often.

2. Yes, I'm ashamed of my team's performance, but at the age of 22 you kinda get over it. Perhaps you too will get over your "small team - no respect" whining as well.

ok ok let me clear a few things!! if you dont agree with me then that is ur problem and ur opinion. i didnt really hear the macedonian crowd booing when castelen had the ball, however when davids got the ball then they started. this was because of a push edgar davids gave a macedonian. stupid things edgar does after winning fouls sometimes. you cant argue that he is that type of player. i think he is the most suspeneded player in the dutch team. i mean i can remember him at juve. wins the foul and still has to do something physically to his opponant!!!

oh and on ur second point, i am 18, and coming from a region where australia is like 95% certain of getting into confed and world cup playoffs is the reason i argue about small teams. i mean new zealand will remember the solomon islands for the next 4 years now!!! oh and i watch interviews 2 yrs ago where a whole lot of british fans were interviewed about the clash with macedonia. hardly no englishman knew where macedonia was!!! why, small nation, small team mate?? one englishman said MACEDONIA IS A CITY IN RUSSIA!!! i mean how pathetic is that the euro is contested between countries and not cities!! your just lucky you dont have a small team so deal with it!!

Waaaa coz Macedonia gave the Dutch a run for their money the dutch and others cry foul! It was a good result and it shows that the bigger nations need to be more wary of the 'minnows' of europe.
