Game's Wednesday. Van Nistelrooy is back from a 2-game suspension. Khalid Boulahrouz is suspended. Kevin Bobson got dropped from the selection.

Van Basten chose Theo Lucius as an extra defender. They guy's not even in the starting XI of PSV :| Van Basten better know what he's doing.

Hmm. Too early to tell but I like 3-4-3. John is being called up for Jong Oranje, he scored twice today against Finland.

I think Netherlands should win this one, a draw with Macedonia wasn't that bad, since Macedonias did the same to England and England did really well in the rest of their games. But now Ruud is back for the orange, which makes it even better. Van Basten should just be given a little time to adapt to the role.

Why, god why do we stick to that 4-3-3 formation, while we clearly don't have the players to play it? I like how Van Basten selects players for positions instead of their name, fame or form. But right now we don't have any international quality left and right wingers/forwards so we shouldn't play 4-3-3. We need to play with two strikers. Just try Makaay/Van Nistelroiij for once.

Van Basten said today he'll stick to 4-3-3 with Sneijder in the center of the midfield. Van Nistelrooy will start too.

It's a damn shame if Holland doesn't win this. Their squad has the potential to be one of the football international powerhouses but due to bad management they've always been the underachievers.

They can overcome those woes and win though.
