Pure **** and boring. By the time you would probably get around to managing a team you want all the best players will be gone and old. I won't be playing FIFA anymore until something comes out. It is an absolute disgrace. You buy a game and you can't even play with your fave team. You should have a choice. And the joke is, this isn't even a management game. Not like Championship Manager. No point whatsoever in starting from the bottom. EA Sports are a bunch of idiots (putting it mildly). Game is a pure waste of money and hopefully someone can ASAP come up with a patch or something to sort it out.

yeah, many people are angry with EA for making a pontencially good game and rubbish one.... i wish i could one day sit around with the people who make this game, point out all the stupid errors theyve made (because the dont watch football) and tell em what the hell where they thinking

Ever hear of the phrase "tough love"? Apparently not. EA will never learn (as is evident from over the years) if we, the community, don't speak our minds.
Just because you can't handle the truth, doesn't mean the truth needs to be swept under the mat.
If it's ok for people to post their love about the game, then it is JUST AS OK for people to post their hatred towards it as well. If you don't like what they post, then LEAVE THAT THREAD!

Also I just can't be arsed playing with a team I don't want to and it gets so boring. I bet you can't even manage a top premier league club until about 5-6 yrs after you start and you win the title every year and also not until you get like 5 stars. LOL. It is an absolute disgrace. And Danny Isacc whatever his name is, is a ******* prick. Who cares anyway. Champ Man is out next week. That's the one. And a proper management game. **** FIFA.

seriously. this is just a stupid mistake by Ea- THEY WERE NOT THINKING when they made the set up of this game.

If you say the game is crap then they won't take you seriously. As they shouldn't.
If you can't use appropriate and mature language, then what hopes do you have conveying a clear point.
If I were trying to make a game based on what is constantly posted throughout these forums I'd have to add rocket engines to the damn CD case.

I am getting the game later today. But frankly I like the idea of starting low and moving up. Sure, it was kind of fun playing as Brøndby in career and building them into a major European power in 2004. But I got sick of kicking the tar out of FCK every season over and over. Likewise, I also liked playing as Ajax, and putting together a fabulous star-laden lineup, but where do you go from there? To me a career mode is about new challenges and opportunities, not playing the same opposition with the same killer team like Arsenal or Juventus over and over again.

Yeah and that is why having the option to select whatever team you wanted to in career mode would still be better.

FFS, I mean goodness sake. Why dont you create custom league and play with your favourite team. After all, if it was a real life career you wouldnt get to start with your favourite team would you. Unless it was nationwide or some none league team. This is such a small niggle based on crap reasoning come on. Its no big deal. Here, have your dummy back.
Thing is, is that it isn't real life. I could be wrong, but I think it's a PC game not reality. I don't think you have to unlock things to make it night time either in real life or do you? And a manager hardly controls his players and moves them around using a keyboard lol.
