Im doing this from the get go.....
its not career mode, but who cares?!!? career mode is for a career, Im very happy being able to have my own team's season and as many users as I want

i don't care what you say, just playin cups or tournaments doesn't even come close to career mode. Just do what i do, simulate most of the games untill you can manage the team you want.

Can you simulate games in the tournament modes? I'm playing a few and I can't find any option to simulate a game, only to play the match. I've seen this option in career mode, but is it left out of tournaments completely?

As far as career mode goes, it's cool, but suffers from being limited to a one-player basis. Bring back the old multi-player season mode I say...

:kader: You people are pathetic.

Playing with a crap team to start off your career is a good thing. It teaches you how to play and how to make the best of what you've got. Then, when you get to move up to a bigger club, those skills prove to be quite valuable. If you start off playing for say Real Madrid...what does that teach you? It's just sad that people are so impatient that they can't play the game how it was meant to be played.

I disagree, we bought the game therefore we can play it however we want. I'm sure some people even go as far as using cheats, which is fine as long as they dont do it online. I bet when you played CM you went straight to picking Arsenal, instead of working your way up from some div2 team and hoping Wenger gets sacked and you get the job. Some people like myself don't have that much time to play the game, I play 2-3 matches a day maybe more on weekends, but some of you have already gone through seasons. So chill out.

There is good and bad things,
1. It teaches you how to do the best with what you got, it also helps you learn how to play the game better.

2. (the bad) by the time you actually can coach a team like Real Madrid all your favorite players are too old.
