Monthly installments...

Have become pointless

If I I wanna pay 3m upfront and 7m over a period of 18 months, 10m gets taken out of my transfer funds straight away  Yeah it prevents bankruptcy but it should be up to the manager to decide that...

I'm seriously hoping this will change in the final version.

It happened on Cm01-02 as well. Although it was took straight out of the club finances

I noticed that too, very annoying cos I used to use that to buy **** loads of players but drive the club into bankruptcy 6 months down the line. It didnt matter either, cos the board got really pissed off but pretty soon they all got sacked and a new board game in and got rid of the debts, so it was all cool :p

I've also noticed that other clubs want to offer and accpet monthly installments alot more than ever before, which is very annoying cos I hate them. Whenever I make an enquiry, they always want bloody installments, and when ever I offer players to them, its always how they want to pay. Does anyone know if you get paid in monthly installments, do you get all the cash upfront?

Maybe monthly installments are becoming more common in real life of course, and maybe in real life the boards take the money out of the transfer budgets straight away and pay in each month from a different account, so maybe its ok.

I loved monthly installments on 03-04.

Coz I would buy and sell players with installments... I knew how much I would receive every month for the players I sold, and how much I could spend on players without going bankrupt. Or lets say I didn't have all the money I wanted to spend on a player, but I knew that within a year I would sell enough players to be able to afford the player I wanted.

This is very unrealistic. There is absolutely no point in paying with installments since the money gets taken out straight away anyway.

That's the whole point of paying with monthly installments- so that you don't get rid of all your cash straight away :|

I'm still hoping this is only for the demo, because you can only play it for 6 months... then people could cheat and pay 1m upfront, and 45m over 24 months knowing the game wouldn't go on for that long anyway :p

Well I played with Real Madrid

I spent my 60 million euro transfer budget and then in November I received another 109 million euros...

I tried the spend it all...and then the game ended...stupid 6 month limit.

It is really pointless to have squads going over 25 players since La Liga now requires that ur players with a limit of 25

On the monthly installment problem...:f***:

What the heck is the point to pay in monthly installments if it gets taken out of ur budget immediately. Whoah....u save a few months worth of interest...:kader:

I guess the banks are catching on to us novice managers who just want to drive the team bankrupt.

I'm sure it's not as you can import your saved game from the demo to the real game, and I would have thought they would want as spending as much as possible to make it as enjoyable as possible so we are more likely to buy the full version. I'm sure thye didnt realise, but I hope they do now and correct it for the real game, cos as you said, it's totally unrealistic.
