LMAO!!! So, according to SI, the more shots, the less chance you have of scoring! Lovin' that logic

apparently its something to do with the conversion rates... im disputing this, but they seem to think its the minority that are having the problem even though theres a new thread about it every day....

i think im just not going to buy the game and give it a miss... a bit like my strikers....

shame really... apart from this, its a great game and probably would have rekindled my interest after the cm4 fiasco....

It's not enough to make the game not worth buying. They'll probably fix it next enhancement pack anway, and until then we can live with it, we all seem to be winning most of our games anyway.

But I agree with you, everyday more and more people seem to complain about it. They've got to listen sometime

yea.. im probably being melodramatic, but its so dam frustrating. especially when im playing birmingham city... i kick their arse and go 1-0 up, then from out of the blue, they go and score 2 out of nowehere with the only shots they have all game.... and all of my strikers couldnt hit the back end of a barn with a banjo, and i end up being beaten or drawing. and i hate that.. any other club i can handle, but not the scum...

i think i will wait to buy it though.. see if they can/will fix it or not....

Just like I said, I'm sure the game decides who the winner is gonna be in advance and you have to try damn hard if your gonna change it.

yea it does.... i read it on the SI site somewhere..... recalculates it when you make changes to tactics or players, etc....

There will be a patch november 5th, btw, according to the Dutch researcher anyway. He said that in the Dutch data thread over at SIGames.com. Don't know if it's been officially announced yet.

yea, they are working on it at the moment, but the strikers issue wont be in it as they dont think there is a problem.....

Wow that sucks snice that is one of hte main problems i am having right now but i still win my games only by a goal or two though so its damn anoyying.

So anyone know what the patch will fix if this is not included?

Well i havnt really noticed any other probelms thou Otherthan some player values but thats in all of the games.

my main problm now is player stats ( i think they are much worse in accuracy compared to older cms) And i dont like the some parts of the new layout.

Shooting bug? If u mean players missing shots 1on1 90% of the times then yes. I agree with that

just been back onto SI site about this... they have told me that i have to play slower and let the opposition have more chances as they dont recognise this as an issue....

im baffled to see the replys of me playing very well but having the comp score on their few chances, to be told to adjust my tactic to play worse and slower!!! arsenal in real life dont play slow... they create and score many chances and have just goe 49 league games unbeaten.... i create many chances and restrict the opposition to few, yet my world class strikers have trouble scoring and the oppositions strikers could score several goals blindfolded and the only way to fix this is to play like chelsea... slow, boring and worse.....

if a team in real life, restricted the opposition to few chances and had many themselves while playing at a high tempo, then they would be playing superb football and would probably go a whole season unbeaten.... oh wait.....

thats the last straw... i will not buy this game....

arsenal dont do that at all, they quite obviously work using the counter-attack.

Problem with high-paced matches is that your players get tired. Their reflexes must be falling, or something like that, when you reach later stages of a game.
It would be realistic, kind off, but it sure isn't made visible.

arsenal press teams, break up play in the middle and then attack with great pace in numbers...

and so do i...

i break up the play in the middle and then hit them on the counter, with pace. its a very good system. i get many chances and restrict the opposition to few....

at the end of the day, wether im playing counter or just outright attack, if im having more chances right through the game from start to finish, and im not scoring with world class strikers, yet the opposition can score at any point, even though they are being whalloped, consistantly, game after game, then there is an issue..... and someone telling me to play slow and worse is just a cop out....

yea, understandable... but this is all throughout the match, every match....

It would explain why you get a goal against in the latter stages of the game. Maybe the strikers are just trying too hard.

OMG with strikers that have 18 for finishing or higher I still don't manage to score against Bergenz
