No Online Play Pc Zone Review

I just read the PC Zone review and it says 'Multiplayer is where you enjoy the most fun and longetivity though, as well as crowding around your pc monitor with up to 8 other players, you can now challenge a friend to a match over a LAN. The fact that Konami have decided to ignore online play yet again however (apparently it was to expensive and time consuming to do) is extremely annoying, especially when the X-Box version comes complete with live capability. This is the reason we could not award PES4 classic status'


So there it is looks like no online play

It's really shame and very rude of Konami if online play is missing again . Hopefully someone could make that online-mod, otherwise i'm gonna have to think about if it's worth buying the game at all...

Online-play was officially confirmed only a few days ago, and this review was written earlier. So, PSZone just didn'T know that there will be DirectIP-play in PES 4 when they pressed their magazine...

Konami have done a pretty piss poor job of making it known about the online feature of PES4. I don't what their marketing department are up to, but they are obviously too busy playing the game to do their jobs properly!

Exactly. A preview ok, but not a review. Silly magazine.

mags write reviews when publishers send them dics saying "review material". Probably Konami send them this version and than decided to postphone the release to enhance online play. I wouldnt blame PC Zone for this

Every year everybody says this, and little later the buy the game.

your thinking about not getting it because there's no online play? What sort of statement is that? Your gonna go get fifa instead so you can play online instead?

There's got to be online play in the PC version, or else I'm gonna die.
Bought an Xbox a month ago since only the xbox had online play. When Konami confirmed that also PC had online play, I decided to sell the Xbox (as I'm in a kind of financial crisis at the moment). Now if the PC version isn't gonna have online play I swear I'll break something/someone.

PCZONE gave it a 89 rating saying they would of gave it 90 or above if it had online play, maybe they were given a old unfinished copy to review as they say they've been playing it for ages.
