Sibanda got 57, the rest were poor.

Pakistan won by 144 runs.

It was expected. The openers were awful as usual. Yasir Hameed's first duck and it was golden! That is our only concern cos we rely too much on the middle and lower order to perform. If they don't perform, you'd see us getting a pasting like the one against West Indies.

Next match is on Sunday: Pakistan v Zimbabwe again, this time at Peshawar. Next one after that is Pakistan v Sri Lanka. Not too bothered about the Zimbabwe v Sri Lanka games, even though they are on 9th and 11th.

then Pakistan batted and made 258!! Afridi probably hit a sixer at the end when they were tied or something...

he did, and what a shot it was.
but once again our top order was shocking. at one point i thought that we might have lost!
credit to zimbabwe though, they are a decent batting side (better than zimbabwe and kenya put together) but they have problems with their bowling. in the 1st match, hondo was their only good bowler, in the 2nd match hondo was getting smacked all over the place. panyangara is good though. i honestly think that zimbabwe could give sri lanka a run for their money for a place in the final.

Zimbabwe have fallen away since 1999, oh suprise suprise. Mugabe's policy kicked in in 1999

Me too. I can't really comment on the performance as Sky Television doesn't consider this series important enough to telecast here. While it is disheartening that only one established batsman has got a 50 in the entire match for us, it is good to see the tail put up more of a fight. I can't really tell what's lacking as they have only shown one Indian match this summer(at the Champions' Trophy). The bad news is that Sachin might miss the entire series altogether, and that is very disappointing, though it doesn't mean that India have no chance of coming back in this series. We now have a very capable batting unit and should be able to cope in his absence.

Fingers crossed for the next Test.

They had so much talent, the best squad played in the 1999 world cup but sure, they got beaten in the super 6 stage by a stunng Aussie side and were out of their depth, BUT they put up a great fight.

Hi guys how r u all...I am tremendously disppointed by dismal performance of Team India in recent series.I didnt watch a single ball of series as I'm away only at home for Diwali right now.OZ really outplayed us...even that cameo victory at Mumbai cant heel it.Abt whinning of OZ abt pitch I dun think they need to do this.

Anyways I'm lookin forward to tom match at Eden Garden.There'll be lots of noise I'm sure abt it.I'm very hopeful abt this match also Ganguly is playing in this match.

Again a terrible performance..seems it is becomming a habbit.If our bowlers cant defend 293 then something very big is wrong.In whole India we stored lots of crackers of diwali for this match but it was all wrong.New disaapointing thing is that
Ganguly has been suspended for 2 Test Matches for slow over rate..I agree we were slow but u gotta see how were the conditions there..but you know ICC

I too agree that abt Bowling action ICC has shown negative attitude.They again showed why they are so weak organization.

And I read that reply where a guy compared Sachin to McGrath .I hate these kinnda immature kindda comparison.Get Life man thats all I can say

I think that we have every right to whinge about the pitch...

When the test lasts two days, and when there are only ~600 runs scored in a test match that has 7 of the worlds top 15 batsmen (Dravid, Laxman, Tendulkar, Ponting, Hayden, Martyn, Gilchrist) then the pitch definitely isnt test standard...On that wicket,if we had Warne it would have been very different..
