Lower Leagues

Just out of interest, anyone managed to get a team from one of the lowest leagues (like Conference) all the way to the Premier Division?

Im on my way to EPL with Oxford United i came 2nd in league two and now im on 3rd place in league one despite all predictions on media that i will get relegated.I also won LDV trophy last season, and i have transfer budget of 100 000 £

Must be hard bringing a lower league club to the top, and more fun in a certain way.

made it to EPL in my 1st season with the R's

i've taken dagenham and redbridge to the second division a couple of times, my best effort with a smaller team though is winning the champions league with sparta prague.

that was in cm4 by the way

my friend won te champions league in his 1st or 2nd season in charge of dinamo kiev in cm 03/04. he also managed sparta prague for like 20 to 25 years or something....

Drowning-Pool, how about managing Orlando Pirates for 25 years eh ? lol

Well Sparta Prague and Dinamo Kiev aren't really lower league teams. Sparta is almost like best Czech except those who are playing in bigger leagues. Still they have really top notch team and they are for real almost every year in CL. Dinamo Kiev is having a lot of Ukranian internationals and bunch of other internationals and they have played a lot in CL for real too. As addition both teams don't have much real competition in their league, so hardly lower league teams.

i'm playing with hull. and was 2nd in league 1 and now in january 2006 i'm 3rd in EC. and i have some great players in my team. so i think next season i'll be in the premiership.

im gonna start a new game now in the lowest league in england

i got sacked by legia warszawa so now i've started a new game with dag and red

Right now in CM0102 im playing as Gualdo a very sh!tty Seria C1b (?) team... i was able to get them in Seria in just two seasons :P

i had a legendary game with yeovil town!! got them from the conference to the old first division but couldnt make the step to the premiership!

In CM 4 I took Wigan to Champions of Europe in 5 years.
