Unlock Everything without losing player names!

Just wanted to let anyone interested know that i created a patch that allows you to unlock everything in the game without having the player names disappear from the game!

well i did it and it was so easy took me one minute to do and it works perfectly

It unlocks everything. That's exactly what it does.

Have you noticed in the game that you can't access certain things? Like 3rd kits, night stadiums, and other stuff you have to earn with points?

This patch lets you access the bonus stuff without getting the points.

There is another patch out there just like this one, but it has a major bug: when you install it, the player names disappear when you are playing a match, so you never see the name of who has the ball. I found a way to fix the problem, so my patch lets you see the player names like normal.

with the computer version u can do anything u want to the game even edit players

next year i wanna buy the computer version of fifa it has way more things u can do

I think so too.

I have not tested this theory, but i think you DO NOT have to delete the A. Settings file if you haven't installed the other unlocker patch. The reason i say to delete the A. Settings file is so that you can erase the old unlocker patch. If you have never installed the other unlocker patch, you should be able to install this one without deleting the A. Settings file.

Anyone want to test this out?

I know for a fact that if you install this without deleting the A. Settings file, you will NOT lose your created players. What i don't know is: will the patch still work without deleting the A. Settings file?

I installed your patch, but when I go to My FIFA 2005 Shop
I see everything is still locked execpt for the ones I already unlocked

Then you didn't delete the A. Settings file in My Documents/fifa 2005, or you have an extra common.ini file in your main directory. I'm not sure of any other reasons for that to happen

umm...this sounds like a newbie queston but how do you rename the config.dat file? Cuz when I try to rename it it becomes config.big.dat

Ok..well I got it working somewhat. But I only have 63/80 unlocked objects in the Fifa 2005 store. Is it supposed to be like that?

just digressing a little...are there actually unlockable stadiums? If so, where can you view them?
