We don't release our roster anymore. Arena's personal way of saying a big FU to the opposing coach.

When this game starts, I'll just be landing at an airport so I'm definitely going to miss at least the first half.

Anyway, I think it's going to be 1-1 and that would be a very good result for us. Obviously, Johnson will score the goal for us.

Well, Convey is supposedly there, unfortunately. He's so good that Reading let him leave early.

I'm guessing Lavolpe will use the same line-up he used when we completely shut down Costa rica in Costa Rica. The only change I see him making is putting in Oswaldo from the start since hes a more reliable keeper.

nah... if anything Gaitan will end up taking Zinha's spot. sh*t, u could even put Alberto Medina there. I'd like too see Blanco moved to the left side and put Arellano on the right when he recovers from the time off he took from his injury.

Theres going to be lots of mdeia at the game... mostly from Mexico and USA. But there is also going to be reporters from Central America, Spain and Indonesia at the Azteca.

But as of today there is only 1 US reporter in Mexico City, some USA Today reporter.

I'm going to be watching the game at a Mexican restaurant in Vegas on Sunday. Don't know whether to be excited about actually watching the game or to be a little worried considering the last time I saw us play while I was in Vegas was in the summer of 2002. :X This thread will probably be closed by the time I get back on Tuesday night.

Ditto. Most of the salvadorians I knew hated every central american nation bar, well, el salvador. Anyway, think its gonna be 2-1 to the stars and stripes. My romanian friend who used to live in mexico roots against them in all possible circumstances, so heres hoping after the Steaua loss he gets something to cheer about.
