Definitely Euro 2004, because of what we did. Too bad the Greeks didn't read the script, not once, but twice. I also enjoyed the 1998 World Cup and Euro 2000.

On the other side of the coin, the 2002 World Cup will forever rot in hell. Here are just a few of the reasons why:

-Matches kicking off at ungodly times. After the second day, I started taping the 2.30 and 5.00 matches.

-South Korea's undeserved fourth-place finish. That match against Spain was definitely rigged imo.

-Marquee players looking like sh*t because of long, gruelling league and cup campaigns.

-France's abortive title defence. After the Senegal loss, they lost the plot. Henry getting sent off early on against Uruguay only confirmed it.

I can think of plenty more, but I'm too tired.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention Euro 2000. Some of the best football I've ever seen. Portugal coming back from 2-0 down against England to win 3-2.
The 2nd leg of the Scotland v England playoff was great too with Don Hutchinson scoring a header. If only Christain Dailly's diving header had beat Seaman then it would have been 2-2 on aggregate and it would have been extra time.

Euro 200 was my favourite also because of the quality of football that was played.

Didn't Ancient Rome win that tournament?

Anyway, Euro 2004 is a favourite and I also liked WC 2002, for I saw almost every match of those tournaments - live - which is great of course...

Romario, Hagi, Baggio, Stoitchkov....and brilliant football in every single match.
Great to see Romania, Bulgaria and Sweden playing at the time..

The worst must have definitely been 2002, can't see another World or European Cup with such a sh'tty football.

Yeah Romania had a good team. Hagi, Popescu, Petrescu...
Glad that you liked `em.
But it`s getting harder and harder to qualify to any tournaments. :|

Euro 2004 is my favourite...maybe its because its not too long ago.
I remember that almost every game starts at 11:00pm or 1:00am or even 3:00am... And during the Euro 2004, i m having my school exam...but i still watched most of the games and "study" while watching. Therefore my exam result is

The England - France game thats ends with 2 Zidane's goals is great! :rockman:
The Portugal - England game is also very good with Postiga chips in the penalty and Ricardo saves the penalty with bare hands and then scores to win the game.
