According to the Brasilian press, Carlos Tevez and Marquinhos got involved in a fist fight after Tevez had accidentally elbowed him in an attempt to go for a disputed ball. Maquinhos responded by pushing Tevez, which then led to a fistfight. The players and coach Daniel Passarella had to get involved to separate the two players.

That was funny even though I like Corinthians a bit... Marquinhos saw that his nose was bleeding and then went for Tevez..... you can see what happened later... I saw it on TV.. no one landed a serious punch

Tevez needs to control himself, he's already gotten in several fights in nightclubs for the paparazzi trying to take his picture, but you really can't blame him, he is quite the ignorant fellow...

I heard on the tv that both will be fined, with Tevez's fine being higher because of reincidence, since he fought with Carlos Alberto before... obviously Tevez earn a lot more than marquinhos too....

Yeah, Tevez is going to need to learn to control himself, this is not street soccer anymore, this is professional soccer. In the street it might be allright, but in the professional world, you have to set a model for others to follow...

It seems like they're talking and stuff and probably got over the incident... the fine will be 10% of their salary with Tevez's fine probably being a bit more than that...
as long as he scores enough goals for corinthians I won't complain if he fights every now and then...
